JC played pretty good tonight. There will always be something to praise and say needs to be worked on. But a win is a win.

Holmes has some good athletes..... they just were outmanned tonigh.

Everybody was talking about some guy that used to play football at JC named Chris Stapleton.....

Not sure, but I think he is supposed to be a country singer. But I've never heard of him.

Chris played at JC in the mid 90's. I think he graduated in 1996.

He was in the JC team that beat Paintsville 56-12 in 1993.
I think he had a fumble recovery for a touchdown. Could be wrong about that.

Congratulations Golden Eagles!!! I love Chris!!! Great Bluegrass and country music man!!! Hey I was on 4 Paintsville teams that beat Johnson Central and was manager on two that beat them and never lost to them at any grade. But that is ancient history not important now. Let's all Johnson Countians support each other and head down to bowling Green and bring back the trophies!!!:rockon:

In fact, their senior year, they beat Tim Couch to death. Seven sacks, 4 INTs. Ryan Allison with a pick six. And Couch still won, hit Hensley in the last minute for a TD, 12-6. One of the best/worst games I have ever watched.

I was at that game.... That TD was in the Kroger endzone.
