A chance to beat Dudley is worth extra incentive to win this one. Thx for heads up. Is there a place to see how the regions align? I don't know who is in our region.

I don't know if there is a more hated person in Knox and Rockcastle then dudley hilton .

I always heard about what a pompous self centered windbag the Dud was while my boys played at Rock. I met him once at a Tenn./Ky Border Bowl practice one day when he was trying to convince me that UPike was the place for my oldest. He just seemed like a little old man to me. He didn't project the persona that I had imagined about how he was. I pictured some 6'6" barrel chested bull of a man that would as soon spit on you as look at you. I kindly listened to his shpeel about UPike and their medical school and I told him my son was interested in engineering which UPike didn't have and the fact that we weren't interested in a 3+2 program for engineering. He thanked us for our time and moved on. I don't hate the man, but, I know some that do for whatever reason. One thing is for sure, he used to be a high school football coaching winner. Whether he is a prick, a cheater or whatever to other people, the fact remains that he didn't overly impress me on that day. But he obviously has left quite an impression on others.

It is just the opposite for me. I don't hate him at all. I respect him and feel like it should provide incentive to any team to have a chance to beat one of the most winning coaches in high school football. I'm certain over the years he has made some enemies. But I'm not one.

My oldest was a Freshmen on 2008 when we had Bell beat (the year they won state) on log mountain in Q4 with just a little to go and he called a shuttle pass that was not on film. If we make that tackle- who knows. I later learned from a Bell player that they practiced that play at least once each practice - just in case. And 12 games later, that case arrived. Brilliant.

Rock hasnt beat knox since 2007 does that change tonight
