Is your school building and football field located together or separate?
#1
Separate Examples:
Paintsville
Ashland Blazer
Perry County Central
South Floyd

Meaning.... is your teams football field adjacent to your school building or is it in another part of town?
If I said 'walking distance' or 'school property', that could leave the window open for something different. And yes, I realize a school building and football field cannot be located together, but for the purpose of the title.... I couldn't think of a better way to word it.

School and field are not together our field is at the middle school
#5
Danville
Corbin
Scott County (uses Georgetown College)
Owensboro Catholic (shares Kentucky Wesleyan College)
Hopkinsville/Christian County (Stadium of Champions. Both schools use it)
Mayfield
Bishop Brossart (uses Campbell County's old stadium)
Newport Catholic (uses Newport High School)
Harlan IND

Those are the only others I can think of.

Nothing like a good thought out discussion on the location of a football field in relation to that schools classrooms
#7
Rockcastle field is at the middle school which was the old high school in the mid 90s. Same with Garrarad county

Come on pulp let him have this. Kitty cats have to win something.

Mayfield's is seperate.

Always thought Middlesboro's set up was cool. The "new" high school was built (in the early-1970s) on the west end of town, but they've kept their original downtown stadium since the 1920s. They just dress/bus their team from the high school on "home game" nights.

Pikeville's field is adjacent to the high school as part of the sports complex that has the softball fields and baseball field in it.

Ditto Highlands. The back of the school makes up one sideline.

Thinking about this more, as far as NKY teams go, Bellevue, Dayton, Brossart, and Ludlow all have stadiums off campus. Highlands, CovCath, Beechwood, Ryle, Simon Kenton, Campbell County, Dixie, Conner, Scott, Newport, Boone County, Lloyd and Holmes all have stadiums on campus. NewCath and Holy Cross don't have fields of their own. Forgive me if I forgot someone. I'm doing this off the cuff. (I realize I didn't list Cooper, but I have no firsthand knowledge of the Cooper digs. I assume it's part of the school, but I missed the game there to start the season.)

For those wishing to see it. It is located to the lower left of the image on Brooks Stadium Dr.

Somerset's Football and Baseball fields are at the middle school. Soccer field (old football field) is at the High School. Softball field and tennis courts are at Hopkins Elementary.

Just a tid bit of info, most schools that have long winning traditions of football success have concrete stadiums.

Monroe County is another one. Their stadium is at the old Tompkinsville High School campus. It's a very nice venue with a lot of history.

Morgan County is another one sitting in downtown West Liberty.

I remember it took me a while trying to find a stadium near Middlesboro High School. now I just look for The Coca Cola plant and know I'm close.

Off the top of my head, Murray is off campus but is on site of old HS that is now the middle school. Fulton City is off campus. Russellville is off campus

Fairview's Football Field is bunched together with baseball, softball, & cross country fields about a 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile from the school
