West Carter @ Fleming County updates
#1
36-0 West at half
#2
Luckily for Russell

There is no way Russell should have beaten by this Fleming County team on our Home Field. The 92 yard Interception return for a TD was the killer and the 4th down turnover in our own territory made it 2 sores 18-7 but still Russell is way too good to lose at home to this Fleming County team. The defense played awesome last Friday giving up only 100 yards of total offense to Fleming County. Russell should have won easily playing at home after seeing WC hammering Fleming County 36-0 at Fleming County. I knew the game last Friday was a joke!

43-0 west final

I read somewhere that the tiebreakers for 3 teams is that for your Non-Conference Opponents you receive a point for each of there wins. Is that how the Tiebreaker would work with Russell, West Carter, and Fleming County? If so, wouldn't Russell have the edge here especially if they can get a huge Win at Home vs. Raceland in Season Finale?
#6
Russell already has the edge. Raceland will likely finish 8-2/7-3 and Ashland 9-1/10-0. russell should win on tiebreakers uf it comes down to it.

It should never have come to that.

The Tiebreakers for 3 team tie is decided in Non-Conference Wins. The losses in the Non-conference teams wouldn't factor in the tiebreaker. With Russell the Raceland game will be HUGE at end of season. We beat Greenup, Boyd, Ironton, and hopefully Raceland. Greenup should end up with 5 wins, Boyd 4, Ironton 6 wins, we lost to Ashland so no points, and Raceland 7 if we beat Raceland for a Total Wins equal 22 points. West lost to Raceland so 0 points, East Carter 1or2 wins, Nicholas 5, Powell 5 wins, Maggofin 3 for a total 15 points, Fleming County lost to Greenup 0, lost to Rowan 0, Estill 4 wins, East Carter 1or2wins, and Mason 1 win for 7 points. So, Russell would have 22, West Carter 15, and Fleming 7 so Russell would win tiebreaker. If Fleming County loses on the Road next week at Bath County they would have 2 losses in District and it would come down between Russell & West Carter and that would goto Russell also since Russell beat West Carter this year. So, its looking better for Russell if they can win out and also get healthy before Raceland game they could end 8-2 and win District!

You count the win totals of four opponents you have defeated. They can be district games, but cannot include teams in the tiebreaker. For example, Fleming cannot count Russell and West can't count Fleming.

Russell doesn't get to count Ashland. Only teams that you have beat. Raceland will count if Russell beats them.

You can count district games, just not games between the three tied teams.

Everyone will count Bath, Powell is likely to win at least 6 games too.

If Fleming loses to Bath all this is for not. Or if any of the three tied teams lose another it's also over.

To early to know.

It looks like if we finish with the 3 team tiebreaker Russell & West Carter will have the edge here for district title. Russell if beating Raceland in their last game the four teams would be Greenup 5 wins, Ironton with 5 or 6 wins, Raceland 6 or 7 wins, Bath County 6 wins with 22 points. West Carter four teams would be Bath County 6 wins, Nicholas 5 wins, Powell 5 wins, East Carter 2 or 3 for total wins 18 or 19 points. Fleming would pick Estill with 5 wins, Bath County 6 wins, East Carter 2 wins, Mason County 2 wins for 15 points. Russell vs. Raceland will be a huge game in their Season Finale. Russell has 22 points, West 18 or 19 points, and Fleming 15 points. So, Russell would win the tiebreaker and home-field advantage in playoffs.

Hard to see Powell not having at least 6 wins.
