I've read where you post this garbage about once a year with North and their numbers in enrollment. True they are second or third in top enrollment in 5A PRIOR to other school electing to play or getting put down. KHSAA isn't playing North down, North doesn't have close to 2,000 kids either.
Beginning of this year NL had 1,321 students total call and confirm Mr. Think You Know It All...
You make this board miserable for the common fan because of your biasedness toward teams or fan bases.

Troll elsewhere, no one cares about your lies.

It's pretty bad when you want to constantly degrade a school that was lucky to win 1-2 games a year about 7-8 years ago, now that the Administration is on board with new coach everything has been on the up and up and surrounding schools can't handle a little shared success.

1st Bold- Tell me one single lie ive told about North Laurel. What I said is 100% true. And I do not hate North Laurel. They've sucked for 25 years. There is nothing to hate. I do hate the town of London and just about every single Laurel County fan ive ever met, but so has everyone else that's ever played against them. Those were the only two schools that would be getting beat 49-0 and still talking shit. Its hilarious.

2nd Bold- I NEVER said the KHSAA was playing them down. That Laurel County education is failing you again. Reread my post. I said North is ALLOWED to play down because of other schools playing up that SHOULDNT be. How exactly was what I said a lie? I stated you had ALMOST 2000 kids in your school, and your getting close. You have over 300 more kids than Whitley and Harlan County, who coincidentally had the same exact amount of kids, and you had 500 more than Letcher and 600 more than Perry. You could be two classes bigger than Perry and Letcher.

Third bold- You damn right.

Fourth Bold- Are you shitting me? Its a message board about high school sports where EVERY single member is biased toward one team. What does that even mean?

Fifth Bold- Your more than welcome to leave.

Sixth Bold- Its not bad. I degraded you even when you sucked as bad as South. At least im nicer than a lot of members are about schools they dislike. What shared success? We suck too now. Hell, everybody sucks around here. Don't think its only been you.

And finally, no where have I lied about anything. Your numbers place you in 6A. That's the simple truth. If it weren't for other playing up, youd be traveling to Madison Central and GRC again for district games. With the way London is growing, it is very likely to happen during the next alignment. I also spoke the truth when I said that 10-0 record (if it happens) will be pretty after playing the easy schedule you did, but after the first round, its possible you get beat in the second round by SW and highly doubtful you make it past Pulaski.

But please, do keep reading my post. Now that I know I have followers ill continue my dedication of hating on Laurel County. Good luck the rest of this season :flush:

Can woods be protected enough with 2 bad injures last week ???? Going with Larkey think he has a point to prove to this district 45-35

Last week Luke had more than enough time with the ball. The offensive lineman are coached to block their man for 3-4 seconds that should be plenty of time for Luke to get rid of the ball. In my opinion, Luke has tried to make this year all about himself. He pulls the ball too much and seems like he wants to target a receiver that really can't catch. Nate Jackson is a decent running back. He does not have the greatest speed but is one of the hardest runners on the team. Luke needs to realize that he has other weapons and utilize those players.

Sir you are an idiot. Luke is what makes Whitley go. He is a super competitive do what it takes kid. Anybody from Whitley saying negative things about Luke is stupid or has an agenda.
#73
Wonder how may starting QB's lead their team in tackles last week. Luke had 15. 13 unassisted

I'm not saying Luke isn't a great ball player because he definitely is. But he pulls the ball way too often when he could hand it and get a few more yards. I know more than one player on that team and everyone will tell you that Luke does things like this every game.

Possibly Kash Daniel out of Paintsville.

Luke Woods is one of the top football players in the area. Period.

The only year the district has been competitive?

It's been a while since a Cubs fan jumped in the middle of a conversation that didn't pertain to them and ran that mouth.

I ALMOST missed it.

There have been some battles in the district over the years and that's what competitive means. I can remember when Boss got stood up on a two point conversion on to win the Perry/Whitley game at Perry's old field.

I can remember some the shootouts with Clay County in 2007 - I'm surprised the Cubs faithful aren't commenting on that, since they love interjecting commentary into things they don't know about.

I can remember rolling down to Harlan County in 2011 and Perry scoring 20 unanswered on the Cubs in the third quarter and cut it to a one score game before Harlan County screwed around and pulled away and tacked on another in garbage time - I know that may not look "competitive" to you, but I sure watched all the Cubbies hold their breath for 20 minutes.
#79
But I guess this district was all blowouts since the beginning of time (i.e. 2009)

Back the Whitley/Perry County game.

I guess Harlan County wins.

One thing I have learned over the years is this; opinions are like elbows, everyone has two, and generally they are both wrong!!!

1. Yes Luke had plenty of time to throw the ball, and as I think back he did not get sacked.
2. Luke has a tremendous ability to extend plays with his legs and his arm and has done so many times.
3. Luke would trade all his tackles and yards rushing every game if his team would win. He is a team first kid, and will do exactly what the coach asks of him.
4. Why would a QB throw it to a receiver "who can't catch" That might be the dumbest thing I have ever seen on here (and I have seen some crazy S**t). If he wanted to stack his stats he would only throw it to a kid who can catch. Check the stats posted on the KHSAA he throws the ball around, with multiple receivers catching balls on every drive.
5. AND THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT...Luke is a humble kid who only wants to enjoy his senior year. He is a leader not only on the field but in the class room as well. He popular not because he is the QB but because he treats EVERYONE the same and you never see the kid without a smile on his face.

Fortunately for Whitley County, we are blessed to have a roster full of kids who are just like Luke, humble and team first! Regardless of the outcome I am always proud of our kids and our coaching staff. If were picking a team (regardless of sport) Luke Woods would be my fist pick!!!

RunItUpTheGut Wrote:2008 was all Whitley. Even though you weren't yet playing up.

2009 was very competitive. You barely beat a NL team that didn't make the playoffs, and beat a PCC team by 1. You did beat LCC by 5, but got killed by Whitley again. Still to this day believe Whitley should have been playing Highlands in the state semis again that year but off the field bull *#$# screwed them and they have still yet to recover.

2010
Everybody in the district sucked except Whitley and HC and HC won by two scores at home in a very close game.

2011
Was all HC, and you kind of blew it on that one. The set up was perfect for you. You still gave up some points to district competition but nobody could stop HC's run game.

2012
Was once again your year and probably the best and maybe the best for a long time that HC had. Blew everyone out and ill give you that one. Was a few snaps away from playing in a state title.

2013
District sucked once again and you plowed through it. No excuses here. HC benefited from a horrible district and it ended up showing out against MS.

2014
Worst year HC has had. One point away from finishing last in district and winning only one game. The complete melt down.

2015
Middle of the road. Playoffs for sure, but nothing special.

So REALLY, the only years it wasn't competitive was 2012 and 2013. I think you had to work for it in 2011 even though HC won handily in most of the games. Larkey was in the middle of building that really good team.
A lot of teams have pulled off a three year stretch of winning. Now that the new car smell of consolidation has worn off welcome to normal :welcome:

How had HC done in frosh and JV ball this year?

Now Gut... you know that the Cubs JV squad doesn't lose games.
They scrimmaged with the Denver Broncos last week and averaged 12 yards/rush.

zaga...exactly to whom are you referring when you say "cubs"?

I remember a time not too long ago when I was cornered at a girls' basketball game by a bunch of loud mouth mommies who demanded I tell them Gut's real name!!!

It's just a good thing I never knew it because those nails coming off of the end of my fingers hurt pretty good!!

I've not mentioned you for a few seasons because I though you guys had become civilized over the years.

If you don't want Luke there are about two hundred other teams in the state that would take him.
