I just moved to Waco and will definitely attend the 1st game of the season. I will probably attend a few other games too.
How will the team be this season? What will their record be? Who are some players to watch out for?

How are you LWC? Good to see you paying a visit to BGR.
EKU is picked second behind Jacksonville St in the preseason coaches poll. I know JJ Jude transferred to Georgetown as well.

I'm thinking 8-4, maybe 9-3 based on this schedule.

How do you think they will do in their opening game? I have tickets to go with some of my new parishioners. (I have now been appointed in Madison County).

They should be just fine. They are returning 8 starters on each side of the ball with good depth as well. D'yShawn Moberly (Last year's OVC Offensive Player of the Year) at the starting RB (led the OVC in rushing yards last season) is back and a very solid back up (Adam Lane from UF) will keep him pushing. Glover, Daniels, & Borders will lead the WR race but there is some talent behind them as well. Bennie Coney will be quarterback with Ramono & Swafford fighting for minutes also. On the defensive side of the ball they return great size at the tackle/nose position and return some very fast, powerful ends. Also picked up the addition of Noah Spence on the Dline (a potential first round draft pick) from Ohio State and D'vonte Derricott to the linebackers from Kansas State, a position that returns a whole slew of talent from last year. If everything comes together the way it seems it could be a very special year for the Colonels. If you want a little preseason look for yourself they have their final scrimmage this Saturday at the Kidd at 7:30 in the morning to finish off their summer camp.

Will not win OVC. Jacksonville State looks to good. Hood will be gone. Take a look at them against Auburn.

I think UK will have an easy time with them, but I hope I'm wrong.
