Had it been a fair called game I would have said it was the best game I had seen in years. I would hate to be a team and claim a "W" that way. And I don't follow any team regularly. Paintsville has a good team and so does Prestonsburg. MOST of Paintsvilles players can be proud of they're play tonight. And Prestonsburg, let it add fuel to your fire because you played good enough to win.Man you are a typical P-Burg crybaby.. Keep crying because no one is feeling sorry for you.. The way I was raised was to never accept a loss..I mean you can learn from it, but don't blame it on the refs or say its ok... Typical P-Burger!!!!:HitWall:

It was a great game, and I'm definitely not one to gripe about the officiating. However, I don't see how one ref can overturn a call in which the other ref had the better angle. I'm not saying it was the wrong call, but what I am saying is that anytime this happens, you're going to have controversy.

OH believe me I still support Prestonsburg. Just because I don't find it necessary to sugar coat a loss, doesnt mean that I don't. I'm proud of the way those boys played. Sean has turned into an animal, as has Lewis and the rest of the seniors. But they lost, and regardless if some feel they were done wrong or not THEY STILL LOST! and I'm sorry if i don't accpet that as a "Moral Victory". And when you are a moderator Boondock Saint, then you can tell me what I can post about.

That is true, but, if a ref sees that a ball was tipped, it is his responsibility to correct the call. I know some think that the ref that was at the endline had the best angle, but this pass was tipped about 15-20 feet from where it sailed out of bounds. Both of the other refs saw it get tipped, but can't make the call until it goes out of bounds by the ref on the endline. As soon as it went out of bounds, all three blew their whistles but the endline ref called it one way, and then both other officials came running in to say it had been tipped.
and it was the right call as we all know, So why complain that the refs actually got a call right??

After I watched this game on our local TV station, I'd like to delete my previous post on here and agree with the other Blackcat fans. Radio described it the total opposite of the way it looked on TV. Plus I noticed Johnny Webb was a ref so I knew it was bad news from the get go. I think Ray Charles could officiate better than him.

To show I'm really a good guy and a devoted disciple, I'll take his lifesized poster and hang it on the wall, chant over a few beads, light the incense, burn a few candles, sing praises and worship the ground he walks on. No I wasn't there, one of my buddy's was and he told me Landon was trying to take a charge. I did look at the picture The Guru put on here and it doesn't look like Landon fouled him too hard, looks like he barely even got a body on him. Bundy now, that's a different story, looks like his knee is about to send Stephens' testicles up into his stomach, ouch. But the way everyone else described the foul I was expecting to see Bundy planting Stephens into the ground or something.

Slone was more or less trying to cut Stephens off or throw off his step by running in front of him. There was no time for anyone to try and set to take a charge or even think about it. After seeing the replay Slone was almost as much a victim as Stephens. Still there is no call for such behavior as Bundy executed on that play.

I wasn't complaining, I was merely stating that anytime a situation such as that occurs there will be bitterness towards the call. I didn't have the angle to make the call, all that I know is that the ref on the baseline made the call one way then one ref came charging from half-court to correct the call. I hope he did get the call right, anytime a ref gets the call right it is nothing but a help, no matter if it favors your team or not. Please, and I BEG you, try to comprehend a post before replying to it.
