Looks pretty good Granny Bear......

IMO, the first place teams (and votes) look to be spot on.

Granny,

Check 3A... I dont see Central and they should be in the Top 10 I would think
#4
Thanks EKU. I skipped 2 lines when I printed. I've never done this before, and to be honest, it was a little overwhelming.

I thought you got a 42 on the ACT and a 1901 on the SAT.......

I had to re-do 3A Objective. When I printed out the margins took two lines away. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh and PS, the NEXT person to complain will get to add these dang scores up next week!!

#7
How is Shelby Valley behind Danville, LCA & Leslie county in 2A?

Ill complain, but I never took an SAT, or an ACT. I had to take the asvab a 2nd time to join the service since I flunked the first time. I can count to 76 now after 12 years on this current job, but only add good with a calculator that is if someone gives me a refresher course on how to use one again.

Simply put. They are weaker.

Plus none of those teams have been beaten 60-6

Killed LCA & sparked Leslie county on the road last year before they beat Prestonsburg in the region championshio who hammered Danville. Where do you get your logic?

Franklin would've beat any of those 3 teams I just mentioned by the same amount or worse

This is 2015. Last year don't matter. If you are weak as pond water you don't gst credit for being mediocre last year. Look at Somerset. 0-11 last year, but getting alittle respect this year since they are better.

Not Danville.... Boyle is better than Franklin County and only beats the Ads by like 18.

Danville may be the most improved team in Kentucky as Corbin found out the hard way

Okay, since Valley is weaker than all 3 of the teams they beat last year & only lost 3 seniors, explain to me why all 3 of them are better and how you figure that please.

Valley played without their 2 starting rb's as they both went out in the first quarter, one hurt & one ejected. And the second quarter their all state line backer was ejected. I just don't understand how your not gonna put a state semi finalist from last year, who beat 3 of those teams in the top 10
#17
Well the way I understand it, it don't make a hill of beans who is weak or strong or who thinks this or that. It's the sum total of the votes that each team receives.
#18
Actually Danville lost very badly to Boyle. Lost 42-20, but it was a 42-6 running clock with 9 min left in the game.
#19
Gotta love Trinity getting a first place vote after getting curb stomped by Male. :Shaking:

Because it's last year.. and we are ranking off this year

What has Valley done in 2015 to merit ranking?

The best team they have faced beat them by 54 points... Pike Central is a bottom tier team in 3A and nearly defeated them.

FWIW, I have them at #12..I have Danville much higher (they destroyed a decent Rockcastle team and beat a good Corbin team). I have LCA ahead of them as they are undefeated. I have SV ahead of Somerset, and one spot behind Leslie County. Leslie is 3-0...

If you want my thoughts on why Danville is suddenly much better I will give it to you...but I am afraid you aren't going to like what I say.

3A Boyle over Belfry again? I will give those voting the Belfry is king until beat argument. I don't agree with it but I understand it. That isn't what makes 3A a mess this is: Central beats 6A St.X and only gets ranked 7th while Corbin gets blanked by 2A Danvile and remains above them? Lex Cath wins a tight game against 5A Cov Cath (who is winless, I know I know their schedule. However Lex Cath should not get a free pass to #3 because Cov Cath played a hard schedule). ETown is too high, 4-0 means little when your opponents schedule has resulted in a 3-13 combined recorded. I repeat 3A is a mess after 1 and 2.

6A: St. X loses to Central and Ryle takes Highlands lunch money away and Ryle still gets to sit behind St. X.

Still too much name recognition voting me thinks.

Here is one Belfry fan who has had Boyle #1 for the pat two weeks.

I noticed that as well. Mayfield got beat by an out of class 6a team in OT, and doesn't sniff a single first place vote. Not saying they should be number 1, or even get a first place vote, but thought it funny they don't get a first place vote, and trinity steals a first place vote from a team that pig stomped them.

Maybe someone wasn't paying attention and voted T #1 out of habit? It wouldn't surprise me. Sometimes I get the suspicion that even college voters don't follow the games like they should. It's not hard to imagine that happening here at BGR.

Ok lets try this again

1) Belfry (8)
2) Boyle County (6)
3) Lexington Catholic
4) Caldwell County
5) Elizabethtown
6) Corbin
7) Central
8) Paducah Tilghman
9) Russell
10) Bell County

Elizabethtown Caldwell and Russel are overrated, top ten maybe, but come on. Boyle being below Belfry (again Belfry fans don't get mad) is a joke right now. Corbin is too high Bell co is too low and everything in between. I know Boyle mopped the floor with Bell co but they also bet a team that mopped the floor with Corbin. 6-10 to me are even to me on any give night any team could win. But, for sake of having a poll

1. Boyle These two then a big gap then everyone else
2. Belfry

(BIG GAP)

3. Lex Cath
4. Central
5. Pad Tilg
(small gap)
6. Bell Co
7. Russel co
8. Corbin
9. Caldwell
10. Garrard

The Hounds had 6 unforced turnovers, so you now think Danville are world beaters? come on use a little common sense. you lose 99% of your games with 6 unforced turnovers no matter who you are!!!

You are not allowed to bitch and complain unless you volunteered for the committee!!!!

Good teams don't fumble. Unforced turnovers are mistakes good teams don't make mistakes. especially 6 of them. Danville's not world beater just Corbin beaters. Boyle Co would be world beaters
#29
my 3A

1 .Boyle
2. Belfry
3. Central - St. X win was legit
4. Paducah Tilghman - This team is always a Jekyl and Hyde.
5. Lex Cath - Starting to earn a little more respect from me.
6. Bell Co. - Wayne win helped but they still haven't beaten anyone convincingly
7. Corbin - Feels like they were all hype, maybe Danville is a 2A beast
8. Caldwell - Look for them to move up
9. Russell - Schedule will allow for wins but how convincingly will determine how far up they go
10. Garrard

Adair, Etown, Hart will get the chance to sort out which of them are top 10 worthy when they get to play each other later this year.

Lawrence Co. slipped from my top 10 but can get back there.
