Danville 20 Corbin 0

^ 64sur is a decent dude and would sit right there with you, but the the other chap you mentioned never leaves his mom's basement and his keyboard.

Hard to see how Mayfield doesn't run away against Corbin, but I suppose there is always lots of improving to be had.

If Corbin has a line might give Mayfield problems.

Only wish I could make that game on 25th, but sadly forced to work next 2 Fridays. Id like nothing more than to set next to 64 mam, and pb&j dougie, and run my mouth all night when the cardinals run roughshod over them.

I wouldn't say Mayfield is overrated, but I would say that about Corbin.

SUR is stunned, but NEVER speechless!!

Boyle had running clock on Danville and would do the same to Corbin.

I told you guys Danville was better than you can thought, and I knew they would load the box and shut Corbin down.

Jack you was right about Danville. :worthy:

Congrats to Danville. As for all this other talk, Boyle would put a hurting on Corbin, and now seeing the way speed affects corbin look for Mayfield to do the same. I'm not sure corbin scores very much in the next two games with SW and the Cards coming.

Corbin will be fine. After you lose 20 seniors, it takes a while to grow up. This was a learning experience. Better beat them now, for when they grow up, it'll be a hard matter to do.

Sorry but Danville's QB is very young and so is much of their team. They seem to have grown up faster.

Danville was better this year. Not looking to turn into a peeing contest with you. Just hope that Corbin gets to try the Ads again in Danville next year!

I know him and his family very well. What he has does not need to be posted on here to start with. I just talking with his dad, he said Harley was more sore from the wreck than the game but he is doing ok. They are visiting Carson Newman right now.

Get my facts straight, I said I was told different reports... I apologize I shouldn't have mentioned the young man by name. I'm pretty sure I said he was sore from the wreck just as you did. If what he does doesn't need to be posted on here why feel the need to give an update and weekend travel plans...

What are you talking about? I didn't express an opinion after the game. I have a lot more invested in this Team than you and I will still be here long after you've moved on to the next team you pick up. We simply got beat by the better team on the night.

64 is a drifter for sure. You have to watch him close he will move out at halftime if things aint going well. Wouldn't surprise me if he was hollering go redhounds next Friday, then after half you look across the field and see him in the other stands hollering go warriors beat redhounds.

Corbin played like an experienced team and Danville took it to them. They need to get back to work and improve, which I expect they will.

Glad you invested in Corbin instead of Whitley county. Ok then you didn't have and opinion in the Corbin and Danville Predictions thread sorry man!!! We can agree I am on board now!!! :HitWall: :HitWall: :HitWall:

I think the lack of speed on Corbin's team , is and was a big factor. Corbin will struggle with those type teams. Just like Bell. I expect another great game with Corbin/Bell for the district.

Single Wing 77 Wrote:I only saw one bad snap tonight and it was out of the i formation. The snaps in the gun were good snaps the qb just couldn't keep his hands on them. I think the speed of the game got to him tonight. Like he was looking where he was going to run or read before he caught the ball. Cima being gone REALLY hurt tonight. Someone has to step into that RT role.

Danville is really good!

And to think the redpups believe they can play with belfry!!
#83
It may be time to just accept that Corbin isn't that good. That first game of the year was so built up it was hard not to get too caught up in it when the facts are a bounce or two and they could have lost that one as well.

Corbin is learning. I dread watching Whitley play them in 2016 and especially in 2017.

This is a young team. Wait until those frosh and sophomores get a couple of years under them

EKUAlum05 Wrote:No reason to pile on and I won't but I tried to warn the Corbin sunshine pumpers that I simply wasn't seeing all the hype.

As I said last week Belfry>Russell>Corbin

There is a clear pecking order in 3A at the top with Boyle at the front of the pack and Belfry, Central, and LexCath behind them.

Then a second pack of really solid teams, Corbin as of right now is in neither of those packs but they will improve. With that said size and speed doesn't grow overnight. If Corbin wants to compete with the big boys they have to out execute the other teams.

I dont see the hype with Belfry. Your pirates will get pecked by the Rebels.

if he could find a good enough recruit to bring he would be in Mayfield next year, but as things are he will likely be at North Laurel or Knox Central next.
