Paintsville 23 Pikeville 22 (OT)
Just watched the game on TV. To say Pikeville gave the game away is a giant understatement. Daniel had about 65 rushing yards in the game and a big chunk of that was on the last play of regulation where he almost scored. Had about 30 yards passing until he did throw that beautiful TD after Pikeville inexplicably couldn't complete the snap to the QB on a first down from the Paintsville 40 with about 4 minutes left. Phelps had about 65 yards in the first half but he carried it 15 times I believe. Pikeville defense is very daggone good and if the Panthers will just keep their focus and cut out the stupid mistakes and penalties they will be just fine.
Jetpilot sure can lay it on thick. He can start a nonsense thread on how the 87 Pikeville team can beat the 10 Mayfield team by as much as they want, and it is so even though its hypothetical just because he says so, and its a certainty, then when an actual matchup on the field has his team losing in real life and the rest of us are certain of the result since it actually happened he will still blabber, and try to convince us his team is the better team since he says so even though they just lost. This guy could convince himself a hotdog is worth a million dollars, but he will never convince any sane human with his nonstop babbling of how Pikeville is the greatest power of powers ever, and every other teams accomplishments mean nothing. This dude is special.
He did just that immediately.

I don't appreciate anybody minimizing the efforts of any football team. You've just to watch one practice to see how much dedication and heart is involved in playing football. However, I do wish that every team had a fan as passionate as jetpilot is about Pikeville.
We all don't mind pointing out excuses when our team makes mistakes, but he sure has a way about him that rubs me wrong, which may be partially due to me not being on the meds I should be on, but now I see why everyone was quick to jump all over him last year after the loss. Good news is they get another shot at them, and I like Pikevilles chances, but its people like this that gets me rooting against a team for no reason. Its ok to say we made some mistakes, and need to do better next time, but the whole life is unfair, and ill bash the winning team since my team lost way is to much.

I can easily convince myself you are an idiot and a loudmouth with no life hanging out on an Eastern Class A thread.
Its my passion to be a good troll, im glad you agree.

Now it makes sense. I didn't say anything was unfair or bash anyone. Hopefully the meds you should be on help reading comprehension and can help you stop rooting against a team for no reason.

We are on a mission, we are focused, they woke up

Nice win for the Tigers !!
I think you guys are hysterical!! Please don't cross a line that I'll have to draw.
Really, in all honesty, this was a really good ball game. Good hitting, good fundamental tackling, ground snd pound football. But in all honesty, after watching the game again, neither offense stands out to be sensational and both have alot to work on. I dont see either team being as good or better than Ashland. So I am still sitting here stuck, wondering exactly how good everyone in the east is. And as for the west, I can say the same thing. BW looks good but thats about it.
I didn't really care for him heading for the camera either. I like it when a player makes an awesome play hands the ball to the ref and walks away like nothing unusal happened. Seen a catch last week as good as the 1 in the Mayfield/Williamsburg title game, and the player acted like he didn't do anything great don't see that much.

Killbilly ymca you was hanging on the goal post last year in Bowling Green. Doing your best to.get on television. Confusednicker:
No but your receiver sure wanted some attention when he danced across the field pounding his chest, I wasn't looking for tv time I was looking for you so I could get a picture of you in a Mayfield shirt, but I heard you bolted out of the stadium so fast that 55 couldn't catch you.
I'm amazed Paintsville actually won after Pikeville defeated the powerhouse 5A Letcher and 2A Prestonsburg, it's just unreal :lmao:i
Any update on Kent Phelps?

I was sitting right beside of 64SUR and I can confirm that took out of that stadium so fast, he left his footprints in skid marks!!
TB, neither LC or Pburg are what they have been or have been talked up to be. Much like the slump of Frankfort and a seemingly unimpressive Raceland team thus far.

 :notworthy. :thatsfunn. Confusednicker:
The only thing I was hanging on 2 was the edge of my seat, and my crying towel in case ot didn't turn out like I want.
Gator95 Wrote:Hence "Pikeville pissed this game away." Whay did you think I was talking about? Pikeville turning the ball over.

Well Mr Jackson...maybe you should either reread your statement or simply make your point better...I don't have an Auburn education like yourself...but if your point is to be taken seriously...you must either admit that play doesn't decide the game ..because it doesn't exist without the turnovers..or admit that Pikevilles defense should have stopped Daniels on the TD run...one play sir doesn't represent the game..

If you want to be take serious you should never mention the name of the weak as pond water, mediocre at best team that's the little whore stepbrother of Alabama. ROLL TIDE!!!!!

They will only get better from this.

Did I not say earlier that Pikevilles defense should've stopped him on the TD run? I stated that Pikeville pissed the game away with turnovers, which led to overtime in the first place. In overtime PIKEVILLE SHOULD HAVE STOPPED THE CONVERSION. I'm not sure how many times I've said it, I think that makes 5. Without the tunrovers the game is over. And still should have been over in Overtime When 6 of Pikevilles defenders were holding on to Kash's shoulders instead of using a proper technique to tackle. Prick.

I dont care for the showboating either.
