pretty bad lc doctors worked hisleg for several minutes. both teams went to midfield and had a moment thoughtful reflection.

I want to start by saying that I hope #3 for Fairview has a speedy recovery. The kid is a heck of an athlete. That was a hard call for the refs though. The kid is very good at creating something and he was trying to get loose from the Bulldog player on the ground who had his leg wrapped up. It was one on one and they decided to let the play continue. When the second Bulldog defender came in he pushed the kid back and he got his leg bent in a weird angle from the kid on the ground.

lc way to much for fairview. fairview had the ball less than a minute the 1st quarter. dawgs just lined up in ground and pound mode and demolished the eagle defense. lc defense was lights out austin ross, tyler horton, and austin chaffins were ballin' tonight. dalton did not even dress. offensive and defensive line was very much improved. roy was scrambling all night.

What was the reason for Dalton not dressing tonight??

As for the game I was dead on with the keys of the game but I was way off on the type of game I expected it to be. I was expecting a shootout with they way that both defenses looked to this point, but boy was I wrong. This Lawrence County defense came out and played better then I've seen in probably 2 or 3 seasons. #11 QB for Fairview was running for his life most of the game and he was struggling to make accurate throws. The Fairview run game was pretty much non existent and the receivers had nowhere to run when they did catch the ball. The Fairview defense had no answer for the Bulldog run game tonight.
My biggest fear for this game was all the injuries we had with the fact that we had a few starting lineman, 1RB, and our hands down best athlete in Timmy Dalton standing on the sideline and I think we had a few others out. The scary thing about this offense tonight is that our 2 best and fastest kids were on the sideline not playing. This Bulldog team is going to get better and better as the season moves along.

My hat is off to this Bulldog defense tonight. I know I give this coaching staff a hard time about the defensive problems, but boy they came out tonight and put on a show against a very good Fairview offense.

I am very excited to see what Timmy Dalton's older brother Robert can do next week. Saw the kid in warm ups and he looks very quick and fast!

He was walking around and moving pretty good, but the brace was keeping him from bending it, but I would say he will be back though.

just way overmatched by a good 3a team. they played their hearts out. no quit in fairview. just simply lc was to much for them. the 1a of eky is going to be very competitive this year.

look for lc to rest more players next week. these scrimmage games leading up to district allow the coaching staff to get a good look at all the players. look for #1 robert dalton to have much playing time.

Congrats to the Dawgs on a great performance. That was quality team they beat tonight and they look like they have improved a ton from last week. I have to tip my hat to the coaches for putting together a great game plan for these kids and they executed very well. Good job all the way around. For the kid that was badly injured, you are in my prayers for a speedy recovery. I hate to see anyone's child get hurt like that and it seemed that for a long time after that happened it just sucked the energy out of the game for a good while as injuries like that often do. If some one could keep us updated on his condition it would be appreciated.

C'mon man.....MC is barely average. Yeah they beat Harrison....but Harrison moved the ball up and down the field....only to commit 5-6 turnovers. Barking up the wrong tree trying to supplement that loss. 👎
