Jackets much better this week. Eagles were tough on the young Jackets up front. Bunch a big active linemen. Darrell White had a tremendous game on both sides of the ball. Several catches where he got hammered and just rolled up and tossed the ball to the ref. Hawn also had a good game catching the ball and did a good job limiting Leslie County's passing game. Whitaker kid did a little of everything for the Eagles. Made several big throws and seemed to have a knack of picking up important yards running the ball. Played well at Safety and flipped the field a couple of times with booming punts. Leslie's O line clearing a path for their backs all night which was the difference in the game. Dunn kid being back for Williamsburg was a big help. Shackleford kid made a ton a big plays for the Jackets.

Great battle by both teams! Williamsburg's is the best 0-3 team in the state! Still improving and will be a tough team come playoffs! They got some stud playmakers. LC might of overlooked them a little but was very impressed to see what they looked like coming from behind 13-0 in the 1st quarter! Great football overall! Leslie O and D line is amazing!

I was getting updates. The Jackets shocked me going up 13-0 and in it till the end. Congrats to the Eagles for hanging in and pulling out the win.

Williamsburg looking better week to week. Good luck on the season.

Wow closer than I thought. At this rate Williamsburg will be very tough come playoff time...

A lot closer than I expected.

Williamsburg putting some pieces together. Still looks like they are trying to play chess with checkers on the board at times. Young kids are beginning to find their roles.

Leslie forgot to get off the bus tonight for the game and after some sloppy play and 10 penalties in 9 minutes, settled in and asserted the running game.
Make no mistake about it, Williamsburg is a better team than they were against Somerset last week, and will be a better team each week from now on. They took a pounding from Leslie's lines and kept coming. Had themselves in position to tie, but Leslie made a big goalline stand. Good luck to Williamsburg the rest of the season. And a good road win for the Eagles, but alot to work on and continue to get better...

Sounds like WBurg has a issue with finishing the game.

Really good game. Jackets showing promise each week., Darrell White showing what we've known about him all along. Poore and White hooked up tonight for some nice throws by Poore. Poore is getting better, still needs to understand to not force it, although he did better bringing it down and running more this week, when needed. Huskey ran like a beast when they gave it to him. Line was outweighed for sure, didn't do bad considering. Defensive line really took a hit when 1 of their starters went out with a shoulder only being utilized offensively. Leslie took advantage of him being out on that side and hammered it on that side to drive the ball to gain the lead. Others came in and filled well though.. Linebackers are still their rock.. Patterson, showing his athletic ability!! Hawn becoming a leader in the secondary!! Mattingly kid (safety) amazes me with his skill level as a freshman and his size!! Hold on everybody, the Jackets are coming!!!
