The KHSAA need to mandate that every district seed. It is only fair for hard work throught the entire year. I don't want to hear this crap about schools like Buckhorn whose only chance is for two of the better school to knock each other off. Stop with BOZO calling.....are you three? PCC has a good team...they're down from years past...but so is hazard...they both have great shooters in hicks-hhs and amis-pcc...they both have evenly matched post games with campbell and walker(if healthy)-hhs and brashear and campbell- pcc they both have good supporting gaurds in wallace williams and o'steen-hhs and willis and gross-pcc...both have players that can play post, kill you with a midrange jumper, hit three, and handle the ball decent olinger-hhs and bailey-pcc....this game will be a very very very close one....this game depends on the things that you cant put on paper....the winner will be which ever team shows up in the right mindset and who wants it more....which, given the past three first rounds of the district...i think hazard will come in with a vengence hazard by five.....pcc will foul late and hazard will hit free throws

Mrs. O'Steen, I agree totally charles did play exceptionally well during the HIT, but i think that his most outstanding game so far would have to be the wolfe county game, where he finished with 20 points along with many other stats....i understand that you live far away....but you would've been beaming with joy had you seen charles play in this game

Tonight is Parent's Night at Hazard. O'Steen's dad is a truck driver and on his way to California to deliver a load...he won't be able to be there. He hates missing his only son play sports, but he knows that there are a lot of good people rooting for him in his place. "Chuckie" O'Steen's name is Charles Goebel O'Steen, same as his father's. My brother calls his son Goebel. I wish the nickname "Chuckie" would disappear! (Goebel is our mother's father's name...Goebel McDaniel).....sorry for the geneology

Kay, Larry is right...this is the place to be. If there is any way that you can come to Hazard for this game then do it!! This is THE game of the year. The stakes are high...loser goes home til next year. There is absolutely no feeling in the world like being at a Hazard-pcc District game. The atmosphere is amazing. The crowd is incredible. This is the biggest rivalry in the state of KY. Win, lose or draw I'm always honored and proud to be a part of the greatest basketball tradition in the mountains. I wouldn't miss this game for nothin!!!

Win or lose it has to be a nightmare for the Dawgs to draw Perry Central. Hazard has a really athletic team and will give most teams in the region trouble. But experience tells me that this year will not be any different than the others. Perry Central by 7. 59-52
