The KHSAA need to mandate that every district seed. It is only fair for hard work throught the entire year. I don't want to hear this crap about schools like Buckhorn whose only chance is for two of the better school to knock each other off. On a different note I have heard rumors about Al H. being forced to step down as the coach. Is this true?

PCC has a good team...they're down from years past...but so is hazard...they both have great shooters in hicks-hhs and amis-pcc...they both have evenly matched post games with campbell and walker(if healthy)-hhs and brashear and campbell- pcc they both have good supporting gaurds in wallace williams and o'steen-hhs and willis and gross-pcc...both have players that can play post, kill you with a midrange jumper, hit three, and handle the ball decent olinger-hhs and bailey-pcc....this game will be a very very very close one....this game depends on the things that you cant put on paper....the winner will be which ever team shows up in the right mindset and who wants it more....which, given the past three first rounds of the district...i think hazard will come in with a vengence hazard by five.....pcc will foul late and hazard will hit free throwsI wish I could be there I live too far away to watch my nephew! I did come back home to watch the HIT and he played well in the last game of that tourney. I hear that the DAWGS are finally gelling as a team...so watch out PCC! (the HHS/MCNapier rivally was great during my hs yrs!)...

This will be a highlight first round matchup. This is a game that will have the gym packed and crowds roaring. I am saying PCC by 5 or less. This will be a game that everyone should go see.

Because I seriously think PCC lost to KCC on purpose to have us not expecting much when we meet. Why would they have had John Yancy in at a clutch moment?

Mrs. O'Steen, I agree totally charles did play exceptionally well during the HIT, but i think that his most outstanding game so far would have to be the wolfe county game, where he finished with 20 points along with many other stats....i understand that you live far away....but you would've been beaming with joy had you seen charles play in this game

Tonight is Parent's Night at Hazard. O'Steen's dad is a truck driver and on his way to California to deliver a load...he won't be able to be there. He hates missing his only son play sports, but he knows that there are a lot of good people rooting for him in his place. "Chuckie" O'Steen's name is Charles Goebel O'Steen, same as his father's. My brother calls his son Goebel. I wish the nickname "Chuckie" would disappear! (Goebel is our mother's father's name...Goebel McDaniel).....sorry for the geneology
Oh, Larry Bird...thank you for addressing me as Mrs...which I am...but not O'Steen...I used my maiden name in hopes that some old classmates might recognize me!

I'll bet PCC gets screwed over. YOu can't beat Hazard two times in a row at Hazard. THe officials won't allow it.

Kay, Larry is right...this is the place to be. If there is any way that you can come to Hazard for this game then do it!! This is THE game of the year. The stakes are high...loser goes home til next year. There is absolutely no feeling in the world like being at a Hazard-pcc District game. The atmosphere is amazing. The crowd is incredible. This is the biggest rivalry in the state of KY. Win, lose or draw I'm always honored and proud to be a part of the greatest basketball tradition in the mountains. I wouldn't miss this game for nothin!!!
GOOOO DAWGS!!!!!

You guys bring tears to my eyes...I can't be there b/c of work...I have used all of my personal days. I was able to come home after Christmas b/c I am an educator. I would have to fly into Louisville and drive 4 hrs to Hazard...Please keep me informed about my nephew.
(But just in case by some miracle I could make the game, when is it and the time?)
Hugs to my nephew...Aunt Kay

This is gonna be an awesome game!!! i cant wait. As for the comment earlier about the PCC fans making excuses already, we always hear excuses from Hazard if they lose so i dont see how what they said was any different. It will be a close game cant wait to see the outcome

All I know is that the crowd will be wild! AND THE "DAWG POUND" WILL BE PUMPING (HHS pep section)!!! I know Hazard's ball players will be ready for PCC this time. So be afraid...BE VERY AFRAID! Hazard by 8!

Win or lose it has to be a nightmare for the Dawgs to draw Perry Central. Hazard has a really athletic team and will give most teams in the region trouble. But experience tells me that this year will not be any different than the others. Perry Central by 7. 59-52

Yeah...Hazard always gets the last laugh when PCC goes to Rupp and gets beat in their first game and then tries to fight the team that beat em.

tradtition...if this season decides to follow it...hazard won the regular season games, and lost in district, first game, in foot ball...pcc had won three years straight, hazard won this year, pcc beat hazard in the regular season, its district time now, hazard by 7...hazard will be ahead late in the fourth and pcc will foul, hazard will knock down their free throws

What in the world are you talking about?I was refering to hazards early start and PCC's late start in baseball due to the fact that PCC dominates Hazard in basketball EVERY YEAR!I like your statement"and pcc dont really matter wow(?) you all go to rupp get smashed the first game", nice grammer! The truth about this subject is that PCC owns hazard in post season play and this year will be no different, they will without a doubt be out coached and history repeats itself.:#1:
