#5 Corbin @ Clay County 9/5

Thoughts and Predictions.

Running clock in 3rd. Hounds by four touchdowns.
#3
Hounds 49 clay 7
#4
Can't both coaches agree to start the game with a running clock?
#5
As much as it pains me to say it, hounds big. 56-7 Confusednicker:

I can see three running back for Corbin gaining over 100+ Jewell, Carter, French and maybe one more.
#7
Better not start talking about 3 running backs running for 100 for Corbin, that will get Haddix in trouble over there, the word "3 back" is no longer allowed in Corbin.
#8
I am waiting for the Corbin - Mayfield game which should be a dandy.
#9
Running clock for sure!!! Hounds 55 clay 0

Corbin - 46

Clay County - 7

Clock will start early. Hounds by more than 36. Look for Corbin to work on throwing the ball a little more.
#12
I cant predict a score without coming across as mean.
So ill just say Corbin wins.
#13
Corbin Big
#14
Foot Bridge, Hounds run wild. No need to predict a score.
#15
I like Corbin in this one. Gotta have them hounds keep winning til the annual 64 vs 55 bowl. I want them undefeated until we win the 64 vs 55 bowl this year to go 3-0.
#16
Corbin easily but Haddix might "call off the dogs" just a bit for old times sake with Coach Combs. Hey, I kinda like that play on words! Anyway, NC, no contest.

Clay will show some improvement in this game.
#19
Corbin by a lot
#20
Heard a rumor that Clay had a starter quit. Anyone know anything?
#21
Corbin 42-0

Corbin's run game has been lights out and coach Haddix will ride what's working. I look for the hounds to pound the ball and force Clay to stop them. I really like what I have seen so far this season, but after this game the next 3 will be hard games and should give us a gauge on what kind of team we have. I really like our schedule and it should get us ready for the playoffs. Defense is doing what is expected and the O Line has been better than expected. Running backs are a surprise and the qb is doing what he is called upon to do to win and getting a lot of needed experience. GO HOUNDS

I haven't heard anything, seems like a new coach with the same problems. Too many athletes in the Tiger Den for them to consistently be this bad.

Sarcasm? or is he really not coaching at Whitley?

Haddix has the Hounds rolling on all cylinders right now. The offense is starting to click, and the defense continues to be a dominate force. I look for Haddix to work on his passing game a little bit more in this game, and work on getting some of the younger guys some reps, to help build depth, for later on down the road. With Combs being a former Bobcat, I don't look for Haddix to run up the score. With that being said, the Redhounds win 42-7.

How do we know?

They've beaten two teams that are 1-3 together and are facing an 0-2 team this week.

Games vs Danville, Southwestern and Mayfield will be the real barometer.

I agree, they haven't played any great teams, but they have taken care of business the past two weeks. Whitley County isn't a horrible team, but no means are they a good team. As you said, the real barometer will take place over the next three weeks. If the Hounds can come out of that three game stretch with a 2-1 record, I will be impressed.
