Tilghman is mediocre at best. every year they get pumped up and set up for disappointment.

This was a one score game headed into the 4th I believe. I expected more from PT but, they are still showing signs of much improvement. The discipline change has meant a lot.

Yes PT was down by 2 points late in the third quarter. Central Hardin was clearly the better team tonight but Tilghman kept it close with a kickoff return for a td and scrappy play for the first 2 1/2 quarters or so.
The Bruins were huge on the line, I would bet PT gave up 30-40 pounds per man on the line, especially on defense. PT could not stop the run, especially late in the game.
I think calling Tilghman mediocre as another poster did is a little off the mark, they are better than that. I am not sure yet how good they are, next week will be a good marker to determine that.
I will say on the positive side, I think PT was only flagged maybe once or twice
all game, so they are playing much more disciplined than in years past.
This was always going to be a tough game for them, sandwiched between McCracken and Mayfield and I hope they learn from this loss and come out hungry and mean next week.

Don't worry about pjdoug calling them mediocre, cause he calls almost every team mediocre.

There has been a few people "pumping" us up, but it is no one from PT.
We are a better team than last year, but are still small in the trenches.
CH was a very big, physical team. I thought considering they way out sized us we played them a pretty good game for three quarters until they just flat out wore us down with their pounding ground game. PT was able to get their receivers in open space and pass effectively.
The only thing I cannot figure for the life of me is why they continued to pooch kick to Central Hardin giving them great field position every time they got the ball?
PT will get better, they have eliminated 90% of the pointless penalties they used to get, which is a good step!

I predicted it would take 3-4 years. They are just in year 2. It is apparent to me that they could be slightly ahead of schedule though.

this game will only help PT come playoff time. CH would be a Top 2-3 team if they were in 3a and could very well win it all. Shouldn't affect PTs ranking much.

PT put up 290 yards passing, a stat that will not go unnoticed by future Central Hardin opponents. Best of luck to Central Hardin.
Job one for PT is to fix the kicking game. Their run defense will improve when the kid who was out with an injury returns.

Is he supposed to return this week?
