"Ridge Runner" Wrote:Great game tonight. AWESOME! I love games like that! As for the fouls. Yes P-Burg had three foul out. But, don't fail to mention that Pugh, VanHoose and Williams had 4 fouls each. Slone had 3 and Bundy had 3 or 4 himself. So don't act like the Tigers had no fouls on them. I do like the fact that towards the end of the game fans were yelling at Bundy to give the ball to Slone. But, Bundy kept it in his hands because he wanted it in his hands and he stepped up and made the free throws. When a kid is playing the he was tonight, why not leave it in his hands? Yeah the foul he commited was very hard. But, he is one hell of an intense player. That is the team that the Tigers need when it comes tourney time. P-Burg keep your heads up. You guys are heck of a team.
Good post!!! Pburg is a heck of a team, and a lot better than their record shows.

"THUNDERCHILD" Wrote:So your saying Landon got caught in the middle of the hit, is that correct? If so I'll take your word for it for now. That is till I can see it again on replay. Here is a pick of the intentional foul!! Landon was not trying to take a charge, and Bundy, had been yanked from the game in the first half and chewed out, because he didn't contest a basket...on that play he wasn't in position to defend a guy that made a good move to the hole and Bundy was late coming from his man to help!!! I guess he got way to agressive, but in the photo you can clearly see that he took the hit the hardest!

ever heard that?
Yeah and that's for losers, you play to win. If not why keep score? I take it the Prestonsburg football team had the same attitude this past year.

That picture of the "foul" just looks like a hard foul to me.

Well gish im glad to see you still support your former high school. And theres no need to bring the football team in to this thread this is a basketball thread not a football one, the football season is long over.

"Captain_44" Wrote:That picture of the "foul" just looks like a hard foul to me.Well ya, he had a half court dead run start, and put both Stephens and Slone into the wall before hitting the floor. He wasnt standing still and jumped up and hit his arm. It could have been bad, very bad.

Dang what a game... The best one i have been too in a long time.. In my opinion a ref has no chance. I know because i am an official.. if a ref calls a perfect game (which that will never happen) but lets say that it does happen. I guarentee you someone will be upset.. Someone will get mad.. So a ref has no chance. For example call an over the back against paintsville and p-burg fans get angry call it the otherway and p-ville fans get mad and so on and so forth.. They were bad calls both ways folks i was there. Both teams left it all on the floor and thats what you like to see..

Looks like Landon got knocked out of the way, if you look at his eyes, he has that "Oh, no" look knowing he was going into the wall. The way most people I've talked to said it was a direct hit to the knee from Bundy, causing him to almost flip. Looks more like a serious hard foul...and do you see where his knee is...OUCH!!!

Thats it? :omg: Did anyone on Paintsvilles team have an assist? There has to be better stats than this.:lame:
02-22-2006, 03:30 PM
I doubt there was any assist, they are a very selfish team...
02-22-2006, 03:37 PM
Your right pirate, if they ever have any, no one speaks of it.

People are some times not thankful for what other members are able to bring ot the table...
02-22-2006, 04:54 PM
Oh I think they're thankful, just not believing that with as scrutinized as this bunch is, that no one would be forth coming with the stats. I thought I heard someone say after the game that Paintsville had 19 turnovers.
Good game Tigers and good game Blackcats. It was a shame anyone had to lose this one!

35 for 64 from the field
