Congrats Coach Justice. I have known Coach Justice since he coached at Belfry. He won 3 15th Regional titles in a row (90, 91, 92 ). He is an excellent coach and I am sure he will make a run for the Regional. They have done a great job at Letcher County considering this is their first year together.

I have a feeling Letcher Central is not this good and Owsley County is not this bad. Senior night for LCC and a packed house didn't help. Owsley is a young team and they've had a habit this year of getting down early in some games and then folding. They tend to keep it close if they can stay in the game in the first quarter.

The point I'm making is Owsley plays well in most games if they get off to a good start. For intance, I'm listening to the Owsley-Breathitt game right now with 1:08 left in the 3rd period and the score is Owsley 42 Breathitt 40. This is the same Breathitt team that gave Letcher all they wanted before losing by 1 or 2, and beat Leslie in Hyden. Now, Owsley may still lose or win this game, but they are at least in the game.

A little team turmoil before and after the game, but I think they have it worked out, and playing Letcher on senior night didn't help. The road win over Breathitt tonight is a good sign. If Letcher and Owsley played again I believe it would be quite a bit closer.
