Thank goodness for a running clock for games like this. They was a big difference in speed. Qb could run faster backward than Knox chasing him. So far the best Qb I have watched this year. Can't think of his name tho. Big-time athlete. Confusederiously:

No team in this area could play with BS. Too big. Too fast. That QB and his receiving corps were amazing. And we put no pressure on him at all.

When we play teams who aren't 6A powers with 4.4 speed in 5 positions we will do fine.
#11
Everyone was talking about Lafayette this year and maybe rightfully so, but, they may want to wake up to BS.. Scary team for any opponent. When you have a QB that can throw it well and also beat you with his feet to go along with fast receivers and solid RBs, then you've got problems handling them.
#12
Is this the year Fayette County schools show up in 6A?
#13
Has Knox had some kids quit at the skill spots

You'll get hammered by a 5 A next followed by 3 and 4 A teams taking you to the woodshed.

Bryan Station will lose several games probably including the next couple on their schedule.

Why would Whitley have anything to do with it?

This thread is about the embarrassment that is Knox Central.

And no. No they wouldn't. Knox is awful.

:please: gut your living a pipe dream. So stop smoking what ever it is and come back down to earth. You have no clue of how KC is. And to be awful they sure handel Whitley pretty easily the last few years. You guys were so bad that you had to get a south laurel reject coach to take over. So dont even start with awful til you look in the mirror.

Awful is in they eye of the beholder I suppose. KC signed up for the toughest schedule we have had in 20 years. Doing that forces us to learn some hard lessons. If we listen, we will improve and it will pay off when it matters. Our kids grew up running the ball and stopping the run. Playing spread teams will force us to play more modern football. And that's good no matter what the scoreboard says.

KC's schedule if very tough, hopefully it won't beat them down so much that they lose all of their confidence. The Panthers need to win their district and make a run in the playoffs, and playing competition like this can prepare them for that if they do the listening and improving that you mention in you post.

Negative IMO. Northern KY ball is tough with Simon Kenton, Cooper and Ryle and Louisville area like Saint X, Trinity, Male, Manual and Ballard being the front runner for the 6A title and to add Scott Co. Fayette County schools will make noise, but will frizzly out early in the playoffs, like them often do.

I know what it feels like to have a rebuilding time for a football team, yet face a schedule that is tough as nails. And if, God forbid, a coach tries to ease that schedule some, he gets crucified on boards like this one.

A lot of people can't wait for Harlan County to fall on their face after Coach Larkey was treated so badly. I don't understand any of this.

If you talk to 50 people at HCHS, 49 of them would agree that Larkey was and is a great coach, and got treated unfairly. The very few people responsible for this, isn't on that football team and rarely offers support for it. Yet it will be those kids who will pay the price for political lunacy.

So I empathize with the fans of Knox Central. Sometimes it hurts to be a dedicated fan of the game, and a supporter of local sports.

Dave, it's good to see your son playing.. Looks like dad in that uniform.
#28
He does alright considering the gene pool I provided... LOL. I was fine with him not playing but he wanted to come back. He lifted and trained from almost the day of his last game as a Freshmen. He has never played with his hand down so lots to learn.

BTW - my only problem with screen names is I am always looking to make connections with old friends and maybe even make a few new ones. Tough to do with anonymity. I get that they serve a purpose though.

That's just it little buddy, I don't have to look in the mirror. I don't have any affiliation with any program. Just because I root for my alma mater doesn't mean im going to get upset and mad when they suck and do stupid things. I just laugh and go on about my way.
Its one of the perks of not caring.
