(I THINK this is the same time)You are correct, I believe. There were portions of Floyd County that just got hammered. Luckily, I think that will be the furthest thing from our minds this year. And I won't insult anyone from Harlan. I wanna get out alive.
The insults may be mild, but it is off topic and is in violation of one of the rules.
If you must insult somebody, try insulting me!
After all, I live in Harlan County; you could throw a ton of crap in my direction.

I'll go off topic for this one.
Floyd County DID get hammered. I just looked up some of the text messages that I received from some of my buds up in that area.
It was almost as bad as Johnson County got it this Spring. What a tragedy. I got a few of my Black Bears to help me with the heavy lifting, but we sent a ton of flood relief from Harlan County up that way. We were totally devastated from flooding in 1977, so several of us could certainly relate.
As much as I love football, it is just a game. When things get serious, it's time to pull together. I wanted to use that to teach some young'uns a lesson or two. I think they got it!

Thank you. I'm tired of hearing about how smart people are from pikeville and how dumb people are from floyd county. Way to be on top of it

Joking. Are people from Pikeville proud of the schools academic reputation? You bet. But no more so than anyone else would be. Just take a deep breath and chill a little before replying sometimes. I promise, it will save you a lot of heartburn and aggravation. Seriously, good luck to Knott County tomorrow night, prayers for a clean and injury free game for ALL teams.

I am chilled to the bone and I'm hopping the highly educated kids from pikeville win. Took a deep breath and heartburn is under control because pikeville will beat the non educated bottom 10 school of prestonsburg. The joke of kids being smarter than others at different schools is not a joke. By the way that was directed to you and I do understand sarcasm. Strange that other smart people come from other places other than pikeville?

Wow man, some people know when to quit and move on. Apparently you don't, just let it go everybody has tried to end it. Message boards are just banter and opinions nothing personal. Hope you guys play well and Pikeville does too

Why comment if it should move on? So apparently you don't.

Wow. The Ignore button is cool. Lol. Alright. Moving back to the game. Has Hager taken over the QB spot?

If this game wasn't so danged far away, I would be there! Whitley Co and Corbin is too far as well. Then there's always Bell and Middlesboro, first game on the turf, inter county rivalry, etc.
I'm gonna stay home and pop popcorn and see if I can't surf the games online.
Good luck tonight! Hope you guys have a great contest and both teams have injury free games!!

15 tackles in his last game for the Blackcats vs. Somerset in the playoffs...

Goble was a DE for Prestonsburg, too tall to be RB and too slow to be receiver but a force on Defense. His personal problems may get in the way and cause some distractions for the Panthers. :devilflam
As for Pikeville's other loads...they have some really great players and a little more talented and bigger than Pburg, but Pburg always comes out no matter how big and fast.
Pugh will cause some problems for Pburg, but pburg's defense is loaded with some strength and speed with alot of Juniors and Seniors.
Look for this game to be close and a great game to start off the season...so happy to see this rivalry back in motion:Cheerlead
Pburg takes it at home

^Someone is going to have to make big plays on offense other than Frasure for P'burg to have a shot IMO. Pikeville is too deep and talented to allow Frasure to beat them single-handedly IMHO. Last year J. Jarrell, C. Jarrell and Reed all made big offensive plays. All those guys are gone. Does P'burg have any offensive threats ready to make big plays, other than Frasure? We will see this evening.

It Does hurt to lose All 3 Jarrells, and Reed. It sucks...but you know both teams lost great players this should be a nice showdown in the burg
What ppl don't know is the other weapons Pburg has. Its good to know what you don't know. Pburg has depth too behind Frasure. The only issue pburg will have in depth is the O-Line.
Get to the Francis Memorial Field early, there will be tailgating and food I hear! Ill be there for sure for this one! Im excited to see Prestonsburg, the will surprise you tonight...you will be in for a nice treat!

Gameday !!!! This is always a great game and this years should be no different ( transfers will also add a little spice).
Pikeville has won 2 in a row in the series in '13 & last yr.
Prior to that Pburg had won 4 in a row from '07 thru '10 ( did not play in '11 or '12).
Pikeville won 3 in a row from '04 thru '06,
They each won a game in '03 (Pburg) and '00 (Pikeville), they did not play in '01 or '02.
This series dates back long before the KHSAA scoreboard but since 2000 these two have played 11 times and Pikeville leads 6-5.
Does Pikeville add to their streak or does Pburg start one ?
You can tune in to Q95fm(95.5) at 7:15 to hear all the action or catch it on www.Q95fm.net

PBURG is always tough no matter who they have playing. The coaching staff does a really good job at preparing what they have. PIKEVILLE will have a few holes to fill but with Jarrell Transferring in to replace Cody Estep, will help huge. I know I seen Kory Stevens is now out with season ending ACL injury. That's a blow on D. Im excited to see who plays QB and how well they play it. Don't be surprise if their isn't some nice running and passing by PVILLE .
PBURG-20
PVille-40
NO QUESTION PIKEVILLE will take off in the 4th.
