I wish they'd do something like that again

If you don't mind, is it possible in the future that any kids from Whitley and Corbin that is on Wburg's roster come play in this game for there original team? :trolldad:
if that happened Williamsburg wouldn't have enough left for a team nicker:

Corbin by 3 + TD.
Whitley can spread it all they want, they are a long way from Central.

Nope it's simple math, as Jimmy Buffet says....

oh here we go.... sudden lapse in memory for the "other" fans out there.... I am not denying the past years w/ who came to play but merely stating about the years past where whitley kids came from and corbin kids came from... i.e., when Cotton first came to Whitley he brought some Corbin kids, not to mention kids moving over from the Burg there too, and we all know Corbin plays/ played with North and South Laurel kids as well as Knox County kids, along w/ kids that grew up in Oak Grove (Whitley Elementary) school.. I'm not complaining!!! Merely stating this due to the comment made earlier by "Run It Up the Gut"

We all know Corbin and Williamsburg have had several players from southern Whitley County and Jellico .of course they will lie about it.post some rosters lol

pjdoug, I'm not denying!!! some of the best football players that have played at all 3 schools have come out of southern whitley county., so quit your whining like we are trying to deny or dodge that the burg has had transfers in the past, remember this was about a comment run it up the gut said... merely bringing to light how it made it sound like the burg was the only ones playing with transfers..... whitley and corbin were notorious for gobbling up kids in the past years...

it's not bs if it is true pjdoug and we all know it is true, I was stating it aloud so we all don't forget how things used to be... but never denying and whining, plus you can't fault a kid for playing for a winner.. "cheering for the colonels" who would you be referring to?

I'm not sure if you're asking me a question or to young to understand proper grammar.
As for my comment, it is nothing more than an "inside" joke if you will between a few Wburg fans (obviously not you) and Pj Doug and I. If you're wanting an argument or a story you wont get it here seeing as to how it was 100% sarcasm. You can have them all if you want. Maybe if all the Whitley players went to Wburg we could get you over the state title hump nicker:

Its very simple for me.
Whitley wins or plays Corbin to a tough loss and im in this year.
If Corbin comes in and beats them up pretty good, ill wait for another year. Im not saying it couldn't happen, anything could happen, but id be shocked if Corbin beat Whitley by more than 2TD's. I just don't see it.

I think Whitley can at least keep it close even though it will be a while before they reach their potential, but I see Whitley doing a lot of differen't things from the youth on up that has this program on the rise.I think with the addition of a couple coaches they have a good staff that will have them ready.

if you're coming to this game you better get there a couple hours early or you might not find a spot

What will be the biggest question mark for Corbin, the qb or the defensive backs "cb and safety" position. Ive seen the secondary in 7 on 7 and they look pretty good.

Im satisfied that if Corbins DB's can contain Whitleys receivers and stop Woods from taking off early and often, then theyre shouldn't be any concern about them being able to do the same to anyone in 3A.
