True, but for some reason Lawrence has showed up in every poll on this three and have done zero to earn such a ranking. Just seems weird.

Lawrence returns three of their best offensive weapons, including Dalton who is one of the top overall players in 3A, and a solid chunk of starters from a team who reached the Regional Finals and played the State Champion about as tough as anyone in the class.

Lawrence challenged Belfry a lot tougher than a Russell did for example and Russell is in almost everyone's top 6 or 7 teams.

What did Bell County do in 2014 that says they should be higher than Lawrence?

I'm not sure why the addition of Lex Cath and Boyle automatically jumps them to the 1 and 2 spots in 3A. Yes their addition means 3A is better as a whole but in my eyes neither of them had any OMG! wins last season. Yes they both went deep into the playoffs and have legacies but that doesn't mean they will rule the roost in 3A. To me their addition means that we might actually be able to put together a respectable top 10 in 3A without scrounging to add 9 and 10. My 3A

1. Belfry

3. Corbin ( will be # 1 when the dust settle )
4. Boyle County
5. Lexington Cath.
6. Garrard County ( guessing )
7. Paducah Tilgham
8. Bell county
9. Lawrence County ( loss to a 1A team last year )
10. Russell ( Also loss to a 1A team last year )
11. Could be anybody for 9 or 10 spot.

Belfry had a loss to a 1A team last year, same one that handed Russell their 1A loss. Don't qualify any picks by using that as an excuse.

I can understand your frustrations, SW finally has a good coach and team but Highlands, and Cov. Cath, comes to 5A, plus you're still little brother to crosstown PC. So saying they are top 3 just shows the homer you are..

Lawrence is one of the better teams and pretty consistantly goes a few rounds into the playoffs. Yeah they have had their seasons ended at Belfry the last few years but Belfry has done that to more than just LC. I know I am a LC fan but that really isn't why I commented on this, it is the fact that you griping that LC is a crap team that does nothing to deserve to be on anyone's polls. That is your opinion I suppose and you are entitled to it. Even if it is ridiculous and pretty much just makes you sound like a hater.

Maybe I am being a homer but I would put LC over Russell and Bell. I agree Belfry should be at#1 until someone beats them.They are the defending state champs.

If your talking about Knox Central then I'm pretty sure they are in 4A. This is a 3A ranking. If your thinking about the Mountain top 10 then I agree, Knox is a top 10 team.:Thumbs:
