According to an article that was placed on the online Independent, Fairview is in violation of Title IX as well as misappropriation of funds, etc. Doesn't look too good for the Eagles. I wonder if more sanctions will come from the KHSAA since they are currently on probation?

I completely disagree . I dont think most fans , supporters , or community knew what was going on . I promise i did not know all that has came out was going on . Sounds to me Musick was trying to be slick & screw over everyone . I personally am sickend to see everything that has come to light , & hope Musick gets to spend his retirement yrs in a cage

Fairview High School to Ashland High School is a 10 minute or less drive depending on traffic and 20 minutes or so to Boyd County. Been rumblings of Fairview consolidating with Ashland but a lot of politics involved in such a large decision. 10 minutes and 2.9 miles between the 2 schools and Fairview High School has an Ashland address and zip code. 9.8 miles or 18 minutes to Boyd High.

If I remember the rules, the two districts would have to connect to consolidate, otherwise the county district is the only option.

musick is not the only bad seed that has done wrong.. garry and his family used a credit card for gas for their vehicles for years. nate also. wife kids friends cars...etc. as far as kids leaving wrong ding dong. no one has left this team. if yall remember Fairview has cleaned house and none of the people who corrupted Fairview are no longer there..and have not been. as of july 1st musick is gone. fred ray and company are just fine here in westwood. go drive by our school currently under renovation. so no way on earth are they closing the doors:redboxer:

Not nearly as staggering as the $180,000 they spent on the football team during 12-13, especially when they told the KHSAA that they spent $28,000. The Title IX violation is serious stuff.
