Coach Bozeman is a good hire. Knows football, high energy guy who kids like. Been there before so he understands how tough it will be. I hope every body gets behind him and supports the Raiders.

I personally do not see how you all are complementing on Clinton Gay's work.. he pretty much had a group of kids that my grandma could win that many ball games with. How can you bring down their principal? From what I've heard, she's a sports fanatic and supports everything the raiders do! GO RAIDERS!!!!!!

She can't change things by herself. The coaching stipend (all of 3K), the facilities, etc. Truth be told, that all starts with the board of ed and the super (I know I'm pointing out the obvious here). They are the ones who can make the changes happen.

They have Already selected and Now she is Leading everyone on . Instead of having the Courage to Tell people the Truth.

Everyone Blames AD who is Lousy to but how can She let him get away with These things isn't she the Boss . yes and she telling him what to Do?

yeah good guy but was 5-25 Last Time as Mccreary Head Coach. But with a 2nd chance and backstabbing staff He may have better Luck this Time.

Also, from what I've heard, the staff there is going to be great and has potentional that is extremely dedicated to the kids.... Also they have a group of kids that are very talented and work hard... McCreary should be on the way to turning around.. Cannot wait to watch them in action!!

Only Coach to win District Coach of the Year huh I wonder why We would Want him back :worthy: If they gave the Job to his Asst. Coach Payne when He retired they would Be okay now.

Gay won one district in his great 3 year run.

Win one district game and they vote you district coach of the year! ( it was a joke). Or they felt sorry for him.

Why would they want him on the staff. One winning season don't make your a nfl coach . Anyone in mccreary county could won with WATTS and company. A good coach probably would win more than one district game. JMO.

The principal at that school sacrifices for the kids, from what I've heard.. That school is academically improving and athletically over time, it may be slowly but it is changing!!! I do not understand why everyone is doubting that staff! Boz, Lewis, Privett, Goins, and they need to get mohnhollen on board. I've watched Privett and goins coach together and for the past 2 years brought the middle school to district play 2 years in a row!!! They have a very loyal staff....

So the same guy is starting his 2nd stint as MC coach? Judging by the posts on this thread, it's a miserable and sad situation there right now. Hopefully the boys will band together and overcome all of the political ignorance that is going on. The administration needs to grow up.

Agree, They need to grow up or be replaced from the top to the bottom. Kids are the ones who suffer.

Glad to see Coach Bozeman get another chance. He cares about the kids in McCreary County and is not afraid of hard work. He is a great guy and will be missed in Whitley County. The kids loved him on the team and the kids who did not play sports loved him as well. He is a great motivator of kids and they respond to him in a positive way. His dedication to the sports teams at Whitley was evident as he supported every team. He made all the athletes better by working them hard every day in the weight room. Give him the time and the support and he will have success. Although this should be measured in a different way than at a school like Boyle County or Pulaski County. He is taking on a huge challenge and won't back down from that challenge. Good Luck Coach Bozeman we are pulling for you to do well and will miss you over here at Whitley County!!

How about I go ahead and tell you all about the atmosphere here in the weight room, it's the best we've had yet. Coach Payne didn't set anything up for no one, neither did Galloway. Galloway had 7 kids weight lifting, and DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY OF THOSE KIDS PLAYED THAT YEAR? 0. None of those kids played. The coaching staff we have now is whats best for the entire team. We all work hard, and we all want to get better, we all HAVE FUN as we're doing it. I'm just glad our principal doesn't get into this drama, she chooses to ignore it, I'm sure. She's one of the best principals the high school has had, if not THE best. She helps us any way possible and if we ever need anything done we go to her. Being "sad to see Galloway go" is stupid. I hardly finished the season last year playing for him. The atmosphere we have now is amazing, so I suggest you stop bashing the coaching staff.
