Hard to replace Justice. He was the heart of the team.

Hawks have a lot of upcoming talent. The Conn kid looks really impressive. Pike Central should have a decent season, but with an improved schedule who knows. I think Valley, Pikeville, Belfry, and Lawrence beat them. Who else do they have?

PC Folks, can you post your full schedule on here? Heard there's a change in September to the schedule.

It's not finished, once I get Coach Thacker's approval I'll post it.

I disagree with that wholeheartedly.

Jpp is one of the best coaches in the state you are lucky he even went to pcc. huge mistake to let him go now you will pay for it pcc will never get as good a coach like chapman at pcc ever again.

He is a good coach, but it wasn't our decision that he left. He left on his own terms.

That's a 2-3 win season at best.

I think only two wins is a possibility....
With that said I could see them finding 5 wins (Letcher Central, Perry Central, Paintsville, Sheldon Clark, Shelby Valley)
Honestly though I think Sheldon Clark and Perry Central are the only two I think they enter as favorites against.

I heard today that Pike Central maybe picking up Bell Co???? Both seem to be searching for games.
03-19-2015, 04:25 AM
Idk,i havent heard anything on it,it would be interesting though,id say we will have at least 7-3 with the way it looks right now

I don't think they will be favored at Perry Central with Larkey there. They will be favored at Sheldon Clark and that's about it. If they add Bell Co as their 10th then it's a 1-9/2-8 scenario. The good news is they will still be the #3 seed in the district as their 1 win will be @ SC.

Well glad to get your say out of it anyway, thats what they said when chapman first started but you never know til the season starts, you cant nvr tell how any teams going to be,i dont even think sheldon clark has a coach yet?yea they should beat pcc larkey has got lot of work to do for a year or 2
03-19-2015, 04:55 AM
I think they will have a pretty good year thats just me,everybody has there own view yea some of the games are going to be tough there going to be kinda young but wait til they get to where they play together.

Losing 14 seniors is gonna be a tough transition, but ever since we lost to Belfry in the playoffs last season. The kids already began working in the weight room prepping for next season.
They've progressed so much. We could surprise folks next season, we return most of our defense and I said earlier but I think with more marinating under a defensive guru like Coach Thacker, it can only help us out.
Offensively, we might have some work to do. But I have complete faith in our coaching staff that we'll be just fine.

I would say Letcher, Valley, Lawrence, Belfry, and Pikeville are definitely losses. Magoffin and Paintsville could be losses. Perry and Sheldon Clark could be wins. If they schedule Bell County, that will also be a loss.
Like I said early, tough year for the Hawks.

I dont think it will be a bad year like everybody thinks,i think we should have a good year

Congrats to to Brad Elkins for the #13 best punter in the nation at Ray Guy Prokicker. Very impressive!!
03-20-2015, 05:18 AM
They will go 0-10 if chapman was there they would be 9-1
03-20-2015, 07:49 AM
They could go 0-10 if they had the best coach in the nation or they could go 10-0 with the best,it all depends on the match-ups yeah some teams would be good to good for some not ya never know til how you see the season play out.

It's true.
September 4th, Bell County is making the trip.

2-8...But the good news is you either play Breathitt, Knott, Magoffin, or that other awful program, so lets call it 3-8 with a second round playoff exit.

I for one think it is neat that Pikeville and Pike County Central are finally playing. This will be the first ever matchup right?

No, it will actually be the 2nd time.
They played in Pike Central's 1st year in '93.

Do you have a record/schedule of every pike central season
or further back to Johns Creek/Mullins days?

I have the complete game history of Pike Central, but nothing on JC & Mullins.
