Had a chance to see both teams play this season. Doss much more athletic and stronger inside. This one could be very ugly. Doss 81, Williamsburg 53. It could be worse than that if Doss hits from the outside.

Williamsburg High School has A total enrollment of 196 students 9 through 12. The fewest enrollment in the sweet 16. Doss High School has, 1,200. The next lowest enrollment is Elloitt CO. 492. The largest school population in the sweet 16 is Ballard 1,718. This makes it even better, they can only play 5 players at A time.

I have some familiarity with the kids from Williamsburg and I know they will play very hard iii this game. I spend my days with these Doss kids and they will be very different from what the Jackets have faced all year. The Doss team is very long and play very fast. They have 3 kids that rotate inside that are 6'6. Their point guard is very good off the dribble and the 2 guard plays well above the rim. I think the emotion of the game will keep it close early and the speed and pressure will take its toll late. 65-45 Doss. Regardless, it will be a great experience for both teams.

Here we go again. It is not about whether they went to preschool. Mouth said they went to Williamsburg from preschool until now, and I even had her clarify what she was alleging. The fact still remains those boys were at another school, and a parent convinced their mom to bring them to Williamsburg for sports (and I don't care how old they were). The dude knows that is what happened. He should admit it. Things could have been different for McCreary had they stayed. If you can prove those boys went to Williamsburg from preschool until now, I will admit I am wrong. I know that is not going to happen. Yes or no, did those boys EVER go to McCreary County?

I have taught at Williamsburg for the last 16 1/2 years. Those boys have been at my house everyday after school since I can remember. They have went to Williamsburg there whole lives. I'm not sure what kind of proof you need but name it and I will show it!!

I am not driving to Lexington to be able to say I saw Our jackets play at Rupp, I am going to go to Rupp to watch our kids give it all, and make A run at the Ky. State championship I see those kids about every day and I can tell you, they are not afraid of any of them, they want to go for it, and can't waite. Can you think of anyone those kids are afraid of? All those predictors were the same ones who said we would get buried at Bowling green, WE HAD THE BEST TEAM. Now does any one in the Burg believe we would loose if we played them again. GO JACKETS GO

Ha ha haaaaa!!! I laughed until I couldn't breathe when I read this post. This is a PERFECT example of the meaning of the phrase "grasping at straws." WOW!
First off, the Griffith boys never went to McCreary County.
Second, only someone with no understanding of sports would think that even if they had transferred TO McCreary for high school that, as good as they are, "things could have been different for McCreary." It would take a WHOLE lot more for the sports scene to improve at McCreary.
Third, even if they DID go to McCreary, THEY ARE OURS NOW! Deal with it!
Finally, the full name of Doss High School is "Doss High School Magnet Career Academy." According to http://www.education.com, "magnet schools promote student diversity because they are open to students outside the normal school district boundaries." Doss pretty much has access to EVERY kid in Jefferson County. If you didn't know, Jefferson County is pretty big... got a town called Louisville in it. Visit http://www.education.com/schoolfinder/us...r-academy/ to learn more. It's obvious you need it.

I have dealt with it by telling as many people as I can. I don't know what the purpose of your rant about Doss is about. I do know Doss is the kind of school Williamsburg has whined about for years, so YOU deal with having to play them.
