What a piece of s*** you are! You don't know enough about basketball to have an opinion. Not many idiots complain or make snide remarks after winning, or should I say whining ! You are the type its your teachers fault your grades were bad or your bosses you didn't get a raise. Pitiful! The world feels sorry for you!

I suppose it is ok for the LC girl to elbow a girl in the face with 4 seconds left that without her stupidness would have won the game in regulation! It's one thing to be a poor sport but it's another to be rediculous!
#5
It is a poor sport to call a child stupid, too.
#6
ridiculous* by the way

Congrats to letcher on the win. Each team got bad calls. I hope that #24 from letcher is all right. I hope her knee injury is not a real serious injury. I just don't understand how a coach can play a player that couldn't run up n down the floor. I don't like the attitude of win at all cost. From letcher county head coach. He didn't care about the player. He only care about winning the game.

Great game by both teams. Neither team deserved to lose. Game was refereed well. A few calls went both ways.

KCC is the team of the future.

KCC
Higgins 15 pts
Waugh 12 pts
Stamper 9 pts and great defense
Hollifield 9 rebs 5 pts
36% FG
LCC
Stidham 25 pts 6 rebs
Bentley 13 pts 9 rebs
Adams 4 pts 6 rebs
44% FG

Coach Adams cares about every player. Ask them. This is the biggest game of the year. A kid is going to say I can go. He would know better than a casual observer. She did not play after he had her run during halftime until shooting free throws for Brock at the end of regulation. She played one stretch and came out. It was not a head injury.
#10
I agree about being a biggest game of the year. But after she hit the free throws he should have had somebody at the score table ready to take her out after she made the free throws. I felt bad for the young lady. I know that with all the emotions at the time a coach have to make that decision for the young lady. After watching her try to run at halftime as a coach I would have made the decision that no matter what she is not playing anymore. I hope her knee is not injured to bad. I know it wasn't a head injury but as a coach you have to look out for the health of a player.
#11
But you are questioning a Hall of Fame coach's integrity...
#12
Bad coaching is when you have a senior girl that has been on Knott's team her entire high school career and never got to play in this tournament, even during her senior night. The sad part is she is good underneath, but never got the opportunity to be in the fabulous 7. Now that's sad!
#13
yeah a few things have gotten me puzzled about some of the choices that was made during this tournament. L.Slone #34 stepped up and played a big part of getting the Lady Pats to the finals in the district and also in the Region were she helped defeat Leslie County! she also had an awesome game against breathitt were she scored 12 points not for sure how many rebounds and that was with her sitting out the whole 4th quarter and then tonight he hardly uses her at all! anyone that has seen her play knows that she gives her whole heart to the team and gives it 100% in the game she always plays a clean game even though she has takes some beatings and when she is not in the game she is cheering on her teammates hate to see such a wonderful young lady on the court and off the court be brought down like that!
#14
As a parent having a child playing sports right now. I just didn't like it that the coach played the young lady when it was obvious that she was in pain. I was okay with him letting her shoot the free throws but when he left her in after making the second free throw. It was obvious that he wasn't thinking about the young lady. I'm just looking out for the best of the young lady health.
#15
Knott wouldn't even had the opportunity for the regional championship game today if it wasn't for the 4 young ladies that warmed the bench during this game. Only used when the fab 5 are in foul trouble.
#16
There were hardly any substitutions during this game which in turn led to the 5 on the court being absolutely exhausted.... Knott has a deep bench... it has to be utilized.
#17
Guys like Jacob Cody need to stick with coaching cheerleading.
#18
I'd say Knott won't be near as deep next year. There is no room for anybody but the 5 he starts and id say the bench warmers got that hint today. Those girls would start on a lot of other teams. Hazard will be better next year from what I heard today.

Sports00 Iv watched and followed this team all yr long and heard first hand that that sr was also one who missed plenty of practices and wasn't always devoted to the team as much as she should be.

Perfection there were hardly any subs used in the 2nd half because of the physicality of the game. Next year after a summer of getting stronger and more mature the bench will go 9 or 10 deep.

Iv talked to Coach Honeycutt about this team a lot and he said that the only thing that can hold this group down in the future is kids not being accepting of their roles and jealousy.

You're about an ignorant a**..

First gals game I've watched all year.. And the worst coaching decisions I've ever seen.. May as well told the bench to go sit in the stands.. They could have been more productive there.. I had thought Honeycutt was a good coach.. Not so much so.
#21
Let me see if I can understand this, kcc plays a great game, loses by 1 in ot and you people are complaining about the bench? Coach did what he thought had to be done to win the game and came up a point short, game could of went either way. If players are unhappy then they need to work to get better, transfer, or quit and if that's the attitude they take to hazard or wherever then I'm sure it won't be long before they're a problem there too. Congrats kcc on a good season and congrats lcc on the win today good luck this week in bowling green. What a joke

????? Looks like coach honeycutt needs to get his head out of his butt and play the players who stepped up and help win big games....
#23
Not quite sure I understand what your talking about being accepting of their roles... What roles would that be??

This was a very good game. Bad that one of them had to lose. Hope LCC does well this week at Diddle. Why do people blame coach's and refs. when things don't go their way. I guess you have to have someone to blame. This was a very exciting 14th region Tournament. Congratulations to all team that participated in it.

Looking at their record 23-8 and schedule Hazard tournament champions, they won a lot of big games all year long. Just came up short in the end. Congrats lady pats keep your head up. Sounds like everyone would like for them to break apart so they would have a better chance to beat them.
#26
players need to work to get better! apparently they were good enough to step up when the Lady Pats were 2 players down and bring home the win! the best i remember the bench helped beat Jenkins in District and which allowed stamper to return to play in district championship which they only lost by 7 then the bench helped beat Leslie county to give them another game for Hollifield to return from being out with an illness, the problem was the bench was good enough to help get them to the championship game but not good enough to play in it!!!!!!

Thats what I want to know too? I dont think it is jealousy when players have earned their spot and worked hard to just have it taken away when he doesnt "need' them
#28
i don't think these girls expected to take the spots of the two players out they knew that when they returned that they would assume their roles in the rotation, these girls fought hard to win each game so that their teammates could get to have their chance, everyone wants to start with jealousy and they need to quit or transfer these are young girls if people haven't forgotten! this is the time to built up their confidence not tear it down!
#29
All I'm saying is that you have to look out for the health of a player. I understand that lcc will lose a lot of players for next year n you want to win. I'm just saying I hope the young lady can play this week. N hope letcher win but u can't risk a player just for the win.
#30
Other people around me at the game couldn't believe that he put the girl back in the game. I hope bulldogs 4 ever that you don't coach because u must don't care about a player health. .
