I want to congratulate JC on their win tonight. BUT I do want to say this...when SC boys beat JC boys all the fans would repeat was "win with class". Well let me tell you JC did not do that today. ANd it wasn't the kids, it was the adults. It is shameful when grown adults shout rude, unnecessary comments to the kids on the floor the entire game. And they are JUST CHILDREN! It is shameful win a crowd of "adults" give an opposing player a standing ovation for fouling out. So I will say this to the JC fans...take your own advice and win with some class!!

I seen pictures of one JC girls arm after the game that was red and blue from being pinched all game. Maybe they need to be taught basketball instead of street ball. And I would like to give a big thanks to the group of ladies that were setting in lower section top role on SC side, that gave our girl a standing ovation when she fouled out.

At every game I've ever been to, when an opposing player fouls out, the students and fans cheer. IT'S PART OF PLAYING BASKETBALL!!!!

SC's #2 should have been called for an intentional foul on the play before. She was called for a foul. Then the very next play, the ref finally hit her with the intentional.

And by the way..... I'm POSITIVE that if a JC player did something of that nature to an opposing player, Coach Rice would be 1 player less on his team.

JC has no room to talk about rough play. They have made a living all year by fouling. They even have a pre-designated "hack squad" that comes in and fouls up and down the floor for a couple of minutes until the real players come back in. JC' s strategy is to foul 3 or 4 times on each possession and hope the refs let the 1st 2 or 3 go because the referees want to get game over and head home. Truth be told JC's enrollment is at least twice as big as most schools in the 15th region and 4 or 5 times bigger than some. It becomes a numbers game and in those types of games JC should win. Mentioning "dirty" play, I seen JC play a few times this year and they perform the flop play more times than all other teams combined. As far as state tournament play is involved, they should fit right in with the mugging defenses that the big city teams play, just not as good at it. I am a big fan of mountain basketball and always root for the 13th thru 16th regions at the boys and girls tourneys, but the Johnson Central fans on here make it very hard to do with their holier than thou attitudes and their intolerable arrogance. By the way, I am not a fan of the 57th district as a whole, because I feel they think they are the only district that can play basketball. At least this year, I can root for Letcher Central and still have my mountain pride.

First of all, the team I root for lost in district play. I have no affiliation with any team that played in region tournament, but I was there as a fan of high school basketball. I attend games in all areas of the mountain regions just for entertainment. Being a spectator, you cannot see a pinch from the stands, but I did see rough play from several teams in tournament, including yours. If you tell me JC does not foul a lot why do most teams shoot more FT's than yours, must be those crooked referees. Furthermore, being just a fan, I have no access to game film, so I can't go back and watch. One thing I will agree with from your post is in my opinion, on that day the best team did win. As far as listening to the game, I will listen and even though I am leaning toward Letcher, if JC wins, I will be for them the next game because I am a MOUNTAIN BB FAN. Thank you.
