All federal offices in the DC area h have been closed today. We have rain now but 4 to 8 inches of snow is in the forecast. Because of the rain, the road crews couldn't pretreat the highways overnight.

Highway 413 that runs parallel to US 119. This is about a mile south of Harlan County High School. Far more of the road is under water than isn't. Currently 1" ice, and still icing heavily.

You forgot to mention the mud slides! There are several throughout the county, but none are huge. So far the largest one I know of is at Hiram (just below Cumberland), and it only covered part of one late of US 119. Got that cleared up quickly.

BUT there are dozens of smaller ones and I'm afraid to think of what that might mean, if we don't get some drier conditions.

Just saw where Etown has close to 24" of snow. Wowzers!!

Thank God we didn't get much.
Only a couple of inches. More worried about flooding than the snow.

I would say all the snow will be gone from here by this weekend.
