The Fultz kid was not that good in middle school at QB. They would be a much better team if Feltner decides to play and plays QB.

I doubt that.. Teams are usually better with the kids that are all in!! "If _______ decides to play or not dont win games..

I don't believe QB is the big worry. Giving up 397 pts would be a bigger worry so if the defensive coordinator is leading candidate for HC, I say HUMMMMM! Evidently SL fans like seeing lots of pts scored in a game no matter which team scores them.

Very tough schedule. 1-3 wins at the most IMO in that first year forever whomever gets it.

Nowhere to go, but up. Zero pressure. Could be a fun process for the right person. I hope they get their guy, whomever that might be.

He has head coaching experience, and has worked under some tremendous head coaches.

I guess they are like most that interview the people that apply. Do you know who has applied? School systems can not just go out and get any head coach they want. That usually takes money and a lot of it. Do u know if a proven head coach has applied?

Frazier is somewhat proven
4 seasons at Middlesboro 23-23 as head coach 9-3 in his last yr there.

Solid resume if you ask me considering SL has not had a winning season since 2007.

Hoskins is the DC at Bell. He may have interviewed. Hoskins has been DC since Greer left Bell and would be a great Head Coach if we can get him.

I will just say this, if you all can get a proven head coach and you get an asst then this will prove a lot of what people say about SL! Basketball school. Go get a proven winner!!!

I totally agree. Basketball program has fallen off as well. Last 5 yrs under 50% winning percentage

I think there are many good choices mentions above. But I'd go with Roark. He seems like a good guy, and knows the game.

For you guys not familiar with South Laurel, We are more than likely going to hire someone in house or the best Teacher that has some football experience to fill a corresponding opening. Vince Lombardi could apply and if he didn't have the right teaching certificate he's not getting hired. It's always been this way, but kudos to South, at least they don't pretend to care about sports at an administrative level and it has shown with the drop off of their programs.
