people like flash really show their ignorance when they open their mouths. You're right though.....wilson hasn't played basketball since 8th grade. Massey's situation is not apparent to many people and doesn't need to be. Flash is a hater that thinks everyone wants to hear his opinion. Wilson has been at w'burg since sophmore year so i dont think you count him as a transfer any longer. Some people just like to hear themselves talk i suppose.

IMO, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a kid finding a place to play basketball and be happy. I get so sick of people putting a negative stigma on kids that transfer. Even if you disagree, you can't complain, because every school has or has kids in the past that transferred in.

Absolutely right professor.......nothing wrong with finding place where he's happy and having fun. I dont agree with shopping kids around just so they can play on a winning team but if a kid needs to move schools to be happy so be it. Just don't keep doing it over and overb year after year.

There are only three in the past few years that went from school to school. I realize some of them have to transfer because of conflict or family situations. I have nothing against transfers. It is that Williamsburg denies how many they have and still cries about being a small school. The said it wasn't fair that Williamsburg had to play Mayfield this year because they should be a 2A school. Williamsburg refused to play district games in basketball a few years ago because it wasn't fair to play bigger schools. They didn't win the All A that year either by the way. They cried for years about having to play Lexington Christian in football (until they moved to 2A) because they were private and that wasn't fair to poor little Williamsburg. They are forever whining, and I am calling them on it. Well, if you are as good as you claim, it shouldn't matter who you play and excuses shouldn't be made. I could care less that they have transfers, just stop whining and play.

Flash I own the truth and I celebrate every victory but you sound a little bitter Massey didn't end up at your school and I know for a fact they tried to get him...Wburg is a place kids want to be right now, don't see that changing any time soon...Your school should try to be a place outside kids want to attend and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that...

It is ok if they want to come to a Williamsburg (although I don't know why they want to since they are next to last in state test scores, but that is another forum). Just play and enjoy and don't cry.

Sounds like one school was use to beating one until that other school got some talent now they want to be little that school on how they win. Roscoe says if you get beat, take it like a man and don't make excuses. Happy for the Burg. Not every year they have a season like this. Go Burg!

Williamsburg fans are happy they we go to Frankfort eat out, maybe Lexington, ware the Orange colors, we love our Jackets. If we win spend the night in Frankfort, sure is exciting. these last few years has been just unbelievable.

you are truly ignorant and cant read evidently......i said he has been there since sophmore year. He would not be classified as a transfer anymore. Wilson has been a williamsburg kid since 2012. you cant stand the fact that someone else takes the spotlight away from you apparently. Support your team on your own site if you dont like to read things about w'burg.

Bet he has been listening to radio guy to much. Calling the players by where they transferred from. He have hard time keeping up with our team if he does that to us.

I think we have all agreed you are the one with the issues about transfers at one point in time they were all transfers from another school. Once they are at Williamsburg they are now Jackets and that is all that matters!

You may treat them that way at your school but we however do not!

Flash reminds me of the guy on Billy Madison that put the lipstick on and just sat and thought about all the mean people in high school. But in Flashes case it was the transfers that took his playing time.. Don’t worry Buddy you might get a call one day..

No one denys where they came from.....once they are there then the word transfer no longer really applies. Wilson never even played basketball or football at any other school. Wilson has been at w'burg for 3 years now. Massey came from harlan county but he is still a jacket and he is one of the burgs. There is much more to this situation than you even know and you dont need to know. He is a great kid. If you cant handle that i'm sorry but its the facts. Those kids are part of a tremendous ride right now and people like you get on here and try to start crap with "your opinions". If you don't want to support your team then you don't need to be trolling other threads just to state your opinion. How many threads do you respond to supporting your team? Would you like someone responding to your team as "no good" when 17-0 certainly takes care of that. We may lose tonight and the undefeated streak stops. Even if it does the w'burg fans will be there supporting them and enjoying every step of the way with them. Sounds like you can't handle being second or taking a back seat to a single a school. Troll on......enough said.

No one has ever denied that we have transfers. If you always see your transfers as transfers then you see them a certain way. What I was saying is that once they enroll in our school they become a JACKET!

Flash154 Wrote:We don't treat them any certain way, but we don't feel the need to deny they came from another school. Why deny?
I thought you said your school had NO BANNERS hanging anywhere that involved TRANSFERS...What do you call them, I call mine JACKETS...
01-29-2015, 10:58 PM
They are Yellowjackets that are actually orange but they are a jacket. I don't think they make you wear a tag around your neck labeled "Tranferer". Call them what you want but the are players that are enrolled and deemed eligible to play at The Burg. Now that's all according to Roscoe. I'm just his Clipboard.
01-30-2015, 12:33 AM
Why do you keep bringing up the Massey transfer. This has nothing to do with him. Once again, I didn't say it was about transfers, it is about whining crying Williamsburg that has always tried to be something they aren't. I didn't say you should treat your transfers bad or not let them play. You shouldn't let them come in and take the position of a player that has always been there. You have tried to turn the truth into something it isn't. You can learn a lot from a troll. If I am a troll, make sure you stay only on threads about Williamsburg. What is Roscoe's clipboard doing commenting on a Whitley/Williamsburg thread? You are all trolls by your definition of what a troll is. Also, to clarify because OldJacket must be too old to see what was written, I said there weren't any transfer names hanging on the record holder section of our school and that we never let a transfer take the spot of someone else. I understand now why the test scores are so low.
