East Carter 65, Ashland 45
#1
Final from Ashland. East Carter finally evens its record at 10-10. Ashland advances to 1-21.
#2
It appears that all Ashland fans have been missing since mid-December. Have the FBI and KHSAA been notified?
#3
Congrats East Carter. Ashland will be back... I don't know of a school system around that hasn't had a down year or two.
#4
Ashland lost their best player to injury early in the year, and they have have played a challenging schedule. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy seeing Ashland struggle after decades of beating up on a lot of the region, but they will be competetive again in the near future.

I Doubt anybody is feeling sorry for the Tomcats.

Yes, But we are talking about Ashland Paul Blazer! This was the best coaching job in the State IMO some time ago.

^ I wonder how desirable it will be next season should Biggs be ousted?

My guess is the money is still there. And if someone can turn it around the sky would be the limit. IT'S STILL ASHLAND. Kinda like The KY WILDCATS in the 16th Region it everyone's super bowl.......

^ No doubt about it. I couldn't agree more.

Your first sentence is interesting. The money source from a couple of years ago is no longer there. However, you may be right in that maybe another source has been found. Since Ashland hasn't won the region in over twelve years and won't for a few more years, your comparison to UK is a bit flawed.

You had you opportunity to meet him and chickened out. Which was smart because he would have killed you.

Not sure about the sky being the limit

I salute Leaping Lee/NotsoBADCAT. At least he has come out of hiding. The rest of the "maroonies" are still in a catatonic state lying in the back of a cave.

I think the only reason that Leaping Lee/NotsoBADCAT crawled out of the woodwork was just to reach out and say howdy to an old friend..Confusedhh:
