Ashlands Coach 2015/2016
#1
Since this season is in the books. Lets try and quess what Ashland will do next year about there Basketball Team.
1. Hire within their program.
2. Hire Clark Co Coach.
3. Or try and get one within the region.

What are your thoughts?

:thanks:

Need to make some big changes. Hard to imagine Ashland this bad.

Why not ask a few of the kids in school there to play?

As has been heralded by some posters, I am no fan of Ashland. However, this unfortunate season cannot be blamed solely on the coach. The truth is that there is, at least on the floor, very little talent. Why? It would be interesting to hear from Ashland boosters concerning that question. It could be enlightening for some of them to come out of hiding and answer the question. To be honest, it is hard to believe that they are actually 0-18, the average margin of their losses is well over 20 points, and they have been hit by the "mercy rule" five times. I can't think Biggs is the main cause.

If you dont have the horse, why do they run the race. But looks like you would limit the other teams touches, play stall ball what ever you want to call it. A good coach will coach to his players strength. Coach Biggs really never did that. The Greg kid was a man and they pushed it up and down the floor. Subbing every 60sec it seemed like. I understand that Miller has been out over half their games. Looks like he would have been working to develop some talent within Ashland system. And at any other sports level we can talk about, the coach is always to blame. I really never could understood why they ever got rid of Coach Flynn. I think that if the Mighty Tomcats could go back in time they would have left well enough along.

If Ashalnd wants to be successful they need to go after coach Josh Cook. He had 2 20 wins seasons with LC and beat ashland with the Dixon kid. Now he is at Mercer County and is in thick of things in the 12th region. with a 15-4 record. no doubt he could bring Ashland back to the success they have come to expect. Put all your resources into getting this guy, one of the best young coaches in the state.

Guy's we still have over a month of basketball season left, once a team's season comes to an end, either in districts or region, you can make a thread for that team for next season, until then, please, don't post anything about next season until this season is over!

Thanks!!!
