Never Count OBI out of a game played in Oneida. Clay and Jackson will have hands full beating them at Home.

Has North EVER lost to OBI in school history?
01-15-2015, 05:30 PM
Not an upset. The wheels have fallen off and North is on the verge of throwing the towel in for the year. Collier will be ruled ineligible.

Absolutely. A very difficult place to play and Coach Robinson is very underrated. He does a good job.

After watching North play a few times I can see how they could get beat by anyone in the region, talent or no talent. Just not to the level everyone had expected from them.

I thought they have a draw for seedlings it doesn't matter who beat who in this district

No, this district seeds. That's why you have the home and home series with everyone but Red Bird. Red Bird is the automatic 5 seed. In the old days the 49th used the Lit ratings to seed.

Doesn't ANYONE COMPLAIN?
01-15-2015, 09:49 PM
I thought they seeded.......it really makes it interesting if you draw but then you kill your regional tournament. Your two best teams dont need to play each other first round. But that 4 seed can get interesting in a 5 team district. Sure no one wants to play clay to get into district finals.

Did Oneida get anyone new second semester ?????
01-16-2015, 03:53 PM
From the sound of things the 2/3 seed game wont be much fun either. Could be another interesting district depending on how seeding pans out.

North, Jackson and OBI are very close. Anyone of the three could be the second best team in that district come tourney time. Clay is clear favorite.

Agree with E ' s Army any of these teams could beat each other on any night.

Collier is now eligible.

Let's see if Sizemore continues to follow in his mentor's footsteps.

Will he be allowed to play in North/Jackson game?

I look at it like this.
Nobody has ever complained about OBI because they've always sucked. Ive mentioned it on here before that if they ever start winning, people will start crying.
If you didn't have a problem with what they were doing when they were losing every game, then you have no right to complain about them if they start winning.

I agree about the complaining. Oneida was very good when Larry Gritton Sr. was the Coach at OBI. He won 400+ games in 20 years. Avg. about 20 wins a season. Had some very good teams during those years.

There will be complaining, but one thing is for sure. O.B.I won't lose focus of their goals even if they become a basketball or other sports power. Things will be done the right way. The Directors won't have it any other way, and President Gritton is a stand-up guy.
