Great Feeder Program? Please enlighten me on this. Since when?
01-15-2015, 08:18 PM
I hope everybody is still this excited a year from now.

I doubt if they will be? That spread that he ran at Pike Central and PCC isn't going to work at KCC. Not the first year anyway. Year #2 may start seeing some success.

Well, K-1 flag with 40-50 players, 3-4 with 30+ players, 5/6 with 1 loss in 3 years . For a county that has never had a youth program and is half the size of Perry I think that is a great sign for Knott!
If the athletes that have came out of Knott in the past 6 years would have started playing flag football and played throughout their HS careers then Knott would have been one of the better programs around. NO school in the region has produced more athletes than KCC in the past 6-8 years! No ONE! The main reason that kids hadn't played football in HS is because they didn't have the opportunity to play in elementary school. The feeder programs have been going for 3-4 years now and changes are coming for KCC football.
You keep on supporting your dogs and we will do the same for our PATS.

hey that got them a ball coach!!!! Know you KCC fans he aint going to run for President or anything but he can coach some ball. Let him be the ball coach and someone else can handle the baby kissing and stuff. And when he gets in your sons tale and he will don't start crying. HE CAN COACH SOME BALL!!!!!!

with jpc as coach he the one who came up with the defence and offence that holland ran. he going to try to use the spread offence that he ran at perry, what did perry do 1 and 9 if that what kcc looking for then they got the right man....
01-21-2015, 01:21 AM
Jordan Amis doesn't run the same spread system that JPC runs.
01-21-2015, 04:26 AM
Cheating ape I'm sorry buddy but you have no clue. Hollan ran the ball. Chapman runs a spread with combo plays. That means 2 plays in one. Different spread than what Amis ran. If you have 3 state rings and numerous wins as a head coach and more as a D coordinator then you should have applied. I think knott got them a great coach.
01-23-2015, 05:09 PM
Will Chapman be taking his right hand man Jeff Norman with him to coach the offense?
01-26-2015, 07:01 PM
Killer Bee you heard anything about Norman going to KCC with Chapman?
01-27-2015, 01:47 PM
Have heard some names thrown around......the only one I know for sure is Justin Bates. I will post as soon as they are hired.
01-27-2015, 03:29 PM
I think this is the best possible hire for the Patriots. Good Luck Coach Chapman and the Patriots.

If it wasn't for his defense breathitt wouldn't had been as good. Holcomb did the offense. Chapman did the defense. Defense won those championships in the 90s when they were the killer Bs. Stopped Franklin Simpson for the win in 95. Held Derek Homer to under 100 yards rushing in 96 title game. In 02 I think they only gave up 27 points as the highest point total in a game not sure on that though. But held Corbin to a goose egg in the title game. He earned all 3 of those rings just like Holcomb did. Holcomb did half and chapman did half. Just the facts sorry. Honestly Id say the managers at Breathitt in the Holcomb and Chapman area know more football than most think also. Just sayin.

So where has that defense been is he saving it for something . I think it was the players they had at the time . I was told if you had the players you could run anything

Chapman will do a fine job at Knot Co. Don't expect miracles in a short time. It will take everyone on Board and some money spent on the program and Time. It will not happen over night and they will not be an automatic winner just because the got a good coach.

Haha...you must be a young pup. Back in the day everyone could play. Knott was even decent for a year or two. Didn't have all these video games and all the crap that kids do these days. Every team back then could play at least alittle bit. Teams were just tougher back in the day. These kids these days are soft. Grant it there are a few that's tough but the most are babies. State championships were hard to win in a 4 class system. In a 6 class system it makes it somewhat easier. So I take nothing away from the man. I'd like to see the reaction you would get if you walked up to chapman and told him Holcomb did everything...that would be hilarious to watch. So your saying that breathitt was bigger, faster and stronger than Fort Knox when Homer was there? Sorry but if u walked into the locker room in 1995 or 96 you would see a safety that weighed 150lbs soak and wet and tied the state record for picks in a season and one of the hardest hitting 150lbs I've ever seen. Watts who caught the two Winning Td passes and ran maybe a 5.0 40. Sometimes it is coaching but it does help to have Jimmy's and Joes like you said.
01-29-2015, 02:26 PM
Will Knott have the speed to run the spread?
