Knott Central 56 Perry Central 41
#1
Pats too much for perry. No answer for hall
#2
Knott led by 23 before Perry trims the lead in garbage time.
The one thing that impressed me the most was the fact that Cam never forced anything. I think that alone help Knott blow the game out. Great team effort.

Evan Hall was a man tonight folks. :muscleman

Worst I've ever seen Perry lose at home. Don't know what else we gotta do...proof is in the pudding guys. We should win this region.
#4
Evan Hall made Tobler look like a little kid out there tonight...nobody in the 14th can stop Knott

PCC was not prepared well for the game. Have to do a better job in preparation.

Perry hit no shots early, had no confidence, Knott goes through Hall, way to much for Perry! Kept Justice in check, did not rebound at all. Perry had plenty chances to make run, just couldn't get anything going, season not over, still have regional tourney for another shot at them. 3 team race, Knott, Perry and Buckhorn are a level above the others, hope the 54th draw goes well!

First, I picked knott to win and knott is the better team but these officials are terrible. The khsaa is going to have to start monitoring them. No consistency. They called three charges on perry when knott was running beside them ans that took 6 and maybe nine points off the scoreboard and at this time perry was just down 4. Then Beverly drives and hall made a good block and the refs give the ball back to knott after he looks around for a couple seconds. Not to mention they never call illegal screens or three seconds. The officials around here are terrible. No supervision. If a ref knew he would get barred for obviously making bad calles in favor of the same team over and over then they wouldn't do it.

Bluegrass Assosiation is by far the best officials around.

Hall got most of his points when tobler wasn't guarding him but Evan hall is a better player then tobler right now but when hall was a sophomore he wasn't near as good as tobler is now
#9
You watched a different game than I watched.
#10
I watching it again right now
#11
I'm watching it again right now. He got either 12 or 14 points when tobler was guarding him. I will give you an exact amount when I'm done
#12
Cam passed Shannon Hoskins for 17th place on the state scoring list tonight.
#13
Hall 21 pts 11 RBs. Justice 13 pts 6 RBs. Combs 10 pts 6 RBs. Christon 6 pts 7 RBs. Caudill 4 pts 4 RBs. Chance 2 pts 5 RBs.
#14
I was very excited to see these two teams pair up. Perry gave a good fight but was no match for Knott.
#15
Sometimes you have to call it like it is. Does anyone have any doubt?
#16
Hitter Really. You must watch a different game or u need to take off your tinted pcc glasses. I guess pcc didn't get a break from the refs tonight.
#17
I've heard it all when someone claims pcc gets cheated in the punkin palace

Congrats to Knott on the win and the championship. I am a fan of neither team and was in attendance and I thought the refs called a decent game. I felt that they did not effect the outcome one way or another. Knott is the best team in the mountains and the 14th. I don't see a team playing within 10pts of them in the 14th. They are really good. Play good defense and rebound the heck out of the ball. Patient on offense and don't take bad shots. I was quite impressed with them. I also believe Clay County showed that they are the 2nd best team in the mountains and can play with anyone. I Love This Tournament. Best around
#19
Knott is the best in the 14th region hands down!
#20
I would like to see Perry Central & Clay Co. Play
#21
Clay plays @Perry Jan. 20th.

There wasnt a guy in the gym that could stop Evan Hall. Kid is a beast. No Perry wasnt prepared, because what were they going to use to prepare for Hall? You gotta have a monster to stop a monster. Hard for a team of 6'1-6'2 kids that dont lift weights to beat a team that is is physically superior. It is what it is.
#23
Knott is King of the Mountains!
#24
PCC will play Knott a lot closer if they get Josh Gary healthy. He can't stop Hall but he can slow him down. He's 6'5" and big body. I still don't think they can beat Knott but he will definitely help make it a close game. Pray is out due to leg surgery also.
#25
Maybe the refs missed a few calls but that had nothing to do with outcome of this game. Knott was the better team. How about the defense Knott put on Beverly. He ended up with 15 or 16 pts but he worked his tail off to get those. Combs and Justice did great job on him.
#26
I agree that knott is the best team in the region but when knott was up 4 and the refs called two terrible charges both that would have been three point plays then the next trim the refs called another charge. The last one could have went either way but the first two were terrible. That took a possible 6 points off the scoreboard. That makes a huge difference. Not to mention when hall blocked Beverly out of bounds and the whole knott county team was at half court getting back on defense when the referee to the surprise of everyone gave the ball to knott county. I think knott still wins the game but it would have been very close. Plays like that make a difference down the stretch
#27
Congrats are in order to Knott Co. They are by far the best team in this area
#28
Congrats, to knott. Did they have an all tourney, team ?
#29
Perry started off very bad and Tobler getting in early foul trouble took them out of their game.Blair needs to take more shots too.It would take some pressure off Beverly to get the team involved more.Overall,Perry played flat and Knott played great team ball.Hall took the game over with Tobler on the bench and we never recovered.Perry will be the favorite or should be next year.Good run in the Wymt Dores.

Outstanding game from experienced seniors and Combs coming into his own now.Caudill did a spectacular job off the bench and Hall is the key to a state title run along with Mr Basketball candidate Justice and a great supporting cast. Proud to be a patriot!
