No guards. I thought the 2 guards were 6 year varsity starters. I saw them play a few years ago at Prestonsburg tournament and thought they would be awesome by the time they were seniors. What happened Lily? Wasn't the Corder girl ranked as top player in the 12th region? Haven't they had basically same team for past few years? I thought they would win 12th region last year and for sure this year. Did they peak as a team too early, I have seen that happen before to other teams. I know they had coaching change, has that affected them more than people thought.

Southwest can win the 12th but they will have to earn it. Danville
Is very good as is Mercer County. Lincoln and Boyle County will
Be in the mix come tourny time as well. will be a great regional
tournament. Getting a good draw will mean a lot.

Like I said no guards. Mercer and Danville both has beaten them with pressure and the guards cant handle pressure nor guard their guards. Like I said they have no guards they could be 10 year starters and it would not matter. Top player in the 12th region according to Cats Pause is Seygan Robins Mercer Co. Corder is lucky to be top 10.

I have to admit , SW is loaded with talent. Starting 5 could all play at next level id say. They will all be on the 1000 point club and one or two will be on 2000 point club by the time they graduate more than likely. How many teams like that come along ??? Not many. A monkey should be able to coach that team to victory......,, oh wait..... Lol

Southwest has 2 really good off guards. Neither one is a point guard however. Thats the way I see it. Having a true point comes in handy when facing teams that apply a lot of pressure.

Wouldn't be so sure of that Willie. Been hearing some rumors recently. Probably not true, but some parents of the younger players are talking.
