I have watched every team in the 15th.

If JC gets everyone back, except Salyer, they are the best team.

As of now though it is Sheldon Clark, JC, Lawrence, Shelby Valley, and Pikeville, in that order.


The best news for the 15th though is that top to bottom it is MUCH improved.

You do know that Sheldon Clark has 2 new player, correct? A shooter and a post guy?

LC is very good until a team handles their press, when that happens they are avg. They are not great defensively in the half court, they lack a true post player, and they have 0 depth.


Every team in the 15th is flawed, when healthy JC has the least.....right now.

They have 1 new player Sturgill played last year.LC is faster than anyone in the region speed in sports is everything this day in time. Bye the way out of the 16 teams in the region only 6 teams want to play the dawgs. I thank their scared to come to Louisa.You have to play the best to be the best. 3 of those teams are in the district. The other player maybe avg 4 pts 3 boards avg. It's the same team.

It isn't that they do not want to play them, it is honestly because you do not belong in the 15th region PERIOD.

You didn't belong when you were awful before Anderson, you didn't belong when you were good with Anderson, you didn't belong when you were awful after Anderson, and you don't belong when you are good now.

You have won NOTHING in your basketball history, but yet you BARK louder than any team in the region. You MIGHT win it one of the next two years, you have as good of a chance as ANYONE, and we all dread if that day comes, not because we want the kids to do bad, but because of the lack of knowledge and humbleness of your fan base. This board would be UNBEARABLE.

The politicking and back biting some in the Lawrence County political circles did to get into the 15th region, then to get into the district you did is laughable.

lc did beat sc last yr, the last 2 was very close games, sc gained 2 new starters and your coached left, as far as speed goes i think parsley can hold his own against anyone and beside this is not a track meet its basketball game. good luck guarding parsley and james now with sturgill making open 3s after seeing pikeville big man the other night i think lc would have hard time with them as well. this is not in anyway a 2 team race. jc is the favorite but are more beatable this yr than in the past.

Finally, someone else says exactly what Pikeville has said, and they don't get hammered. I'm cool with that, because at least others are seeing it. Have nothing against Lawrence County at all, but there is just no way they are a 15th region team. Period. It's all about politics and back room closed door whining because they wanted their chance (first) to win a region in baseball, then they said "well, lookie here, if we convince them deadheads at KHSAA to move us to the 15th, we might be able to win in other sports too!" I've never seen a school system or fan base so caught up in itself, it was unable to see the real world. Like you said, the fan base is the biggest driver of it. Horrible, horrible sportsmanship in EVERY single event I've attended either here against them, or as a visitor there. From soccer, to baseball, volleyball, and on and on. Lawrence County by NO means is the only one with a horrible fan base, but I'd at least rather deal with local yokels than some from almost 2 hours away who bypass 2 other districts entirely just to get to this one, and act like it is their birthright when they've yet to accomplish much of anything in any sport except baseball.

the cards has improved alot from last yr and its showing ,anyone or fan from any team can see that ,lc has a good team no doubt but i do think the cards are to much for lc ,maybe im wrong but only time will tell.oh theres nothing average about this team ,there playing great team ball ,james ,parsley,sturgell and a few others will show more than just average .only boys team in the 15th that is undefeated,average lol
