Perry Central at Lynn Camp
#1
Perry lost to Whitley 40 to 31 last night. They take on Lynn Camp tonight then play Hazard in a few days.Perry off to a 1-2 start. They should win tonight and maybe get the win at home against Hazard.Coach Napier will get the Dores back on track.Whitley has a nice program so I'll take it as a good loss.

By the way,Perry is my pick in the 54th.I support the Hazard and Perry teams and it's a long story. But when it comes down to these two,Perry is my preference.Coach Napier just does a great job with his girls. Those that know him understand. He demands hard work and expects it.Hence, why his record is what it is.

I'm a Hazard grad from the late 90's so I have alittle pride when it comes to girls basketball but the way the Hazards girls program has went over the last 4 or 5 yrs I have a hard time backing them. I have enjoyed watching Perry's girls over the last few yrs.

Lynn camp has a nice team and the program is on the rise. I would not put that win in the books just yet. Perry co. Will have to play well to win this game.

Hazards problem is they have no feeder program. They just started it back up last year. That's what has been killing them the last 4 or 5 years.

Maybe so.Perry starts them at an early age and games every weekend for the younger ages begins development.Throw in parent volunteers and several teams, you've got them competing against each other from pee wee through the start of high school.Hate to see Hazard down but feeder programs help.
