Congrats to Whitney Creech
#31
I talk to her mom, and she has no desire to go to another school. She had a chance to go Knott because her dad is principle of car creek, but she has way too many friends at Jenkins. She is happy being a Lady Cavalier. She will get many offers by the time she is a senior. Due to the fact she is a sophomore she has plenty of time to get better which is really scary.

When my daughter played, she could have started as a freshmen at a small school like Jenkins, but all her friends went one of the larger schools in the area,so she chose her friends and there is nothing wrong with that, when I played I started all four years at a small school. It's up to the child ,I think to many parents forget that, the happiness of the child comes first!

With 25 points against Shelby Valley, 53 points against Pike Co Central, and 43 against Betsy Lane, Whitney secured her second state scoring title. If my math is right she has 2,826 going into district. Depends which team shows up she could win and have another two more games.
