Perry is looking down this year but I think they will make the improvements they need by the end of the year..

Look... I'm a Perry fan but I was not in attendance and can't comment on officiating.
BUT I CAN say that not being able to expect a fairly called game down the stretch on the road is not what anyone should expect.
You're basically saying... yeah it was only a two point game and Beverly didn't get a call late in the game... but that's what happens when you come to Corbin.
A foul is a foul no matter what court you're playing on.

Here's the deal perry was way more talented. They got out played and out coached down the stretch. Refs called a pretty decent game. I'll say this I've seen a lot worse in the 14th.

Can't a Clay fan do a buddy a favor and scout a team for him since I was already gonna be in attendance. And by the way I'm a basketball fan not just a Clay fan. Call the games exactly how I see them good or bad, something u obviously no nothing about.

I've seen a lot of bad called games but for one team to shoot 54 free throws and the losing team to shoot 19 and just get beat by two points. Something is up with the officiating. I don't care where you play that many free throws means somebody got it stuck to them

I can't argue that.
I think that it's hard for a team to get screwed too hard and only lose by two.

Commodores are figuring it out. We will be fine. When you lose a player like Johnson, it takes a little while to figure it out. I'm excited about our team. Go Commodores!

You are not going to be able to replace Johnson. Perry has never had a player of his caliber. But they do have some really talented kids. Different style of play this year, that's for sure. And I don't know why everyone is giving Coach Hoskins a hard time for. Just his 2nd year. How can he be over rated?

There is no rule that says free throws per team have to be close. I wasn't there, but I know if the game was being called a certain way it's up to the coaches to adjust. Looks like Corbin played into what the refs were calling and Perry didn't. Again, I wasn't there...and if it is that Corinne had a little home cooking then it won't hurt perry. They get it too.

Just noticed that PCC lost to Southwestern 75-99 in the Legacy Nissan Classic. at North Laurel.

It's early in the season and the Dores will be fine.Corbin has a dandy team and you played at Corbin.It's an away game so fouls will probably be in favor of the home team even though it shouldn't be overkill.

I have no idea how many free throws perry central shot, do know they missed about 10 of them late in the game or they might have won.

Per KHSAA they were 7/16 from the line.
If it's a close game and you shoot under 50% from the FT line you can't expect to win.

So free throw was alit closer than what Perry fans thought.
