64... what kept the coaches from putting #14 at QB last year? He looks more dangerous than Seizmore, and would have probably given us more problems. I know he was injured but why wasn't he QB from the beginning??? He seems to have proved himself this year.

You forgot some very important stats 64. The Williamsburg stats came against a schedule with at most 3 good teams. They played 1 out of district game with a team that made it as far as the regional finals.

Mayfield achieved those stats against a schedule that contained 7 teams ranked in the top ten of their classifications. They played 1 of those teams twice. That means 8 of their 14 games against very stiff competition. The kind of competition that limits your ability to just throw and run all over them. They did that and still their stats are close to the burgs.

Ill give you 3 pretty good teams, however i could take a bus down to the retirement home, and pick up some players that could beat the rest of the teams on that schedule.

Sizemore was better at following progressions and probably a bit stronger arm. Griffith is better on the move though. I think he will meet McCampbell and Kendall up close and personal many times Saturday.

I used to be polite to, but between the marines, and working around convicts it has made me less pleasant, back to the game i dont know what to think about it since the burg fans swear they are so much better this year. Part of me thinks it will be a blowout, and the other part thinks it will be slobberknocker, so ill do my pick in between the 2, and say mayfield by 17.

No, but it sure does help one to know what they are posting before they just blindly post something. For instance if a team has played at least 7 teams that are rated as high or higher than the team they are about to play and they have only once given up more than 24 then chances are it can't be a shoutout. Especially if you are saying the team only giving up 24 or less is the one you are picking to lose by 7. Another words if Mayfield does give up the full 24 and they lose by 7. That means they could only score 17. Therefore a score of 24-17. Does that look like a shootout.

That is the most impressive set of stats that I've seen since the 1972 Miami Dolphins. They had the #1 offense in the NFL. Led the league in total yards, rushing, and scoring. Were the first team ever to have two 1,000 yard rushers in the same season. They also had the #1 defense in the NFL. They allowed the fewest yards gained, and fewest points scored. They still have the only undefeated season ever.

You have a perfect 14-0 record too. But, the Dolphins were playing professional teams, while you have played Jello Puddin' Pops.

The 1972 Miami Dolphins are my favorite. they made everybody else look like creampuffs :biggrin:
