any team that can stop jones(hazard)like Williamsburg did is a premier bunch of football players.raceland is a very good football team.i just don't see any more upsets in class 1a.in the end I feel like Williamsburg will move on.a lot of fans in the mountains still say the ultimate game would have been Williamsburg@Pikeville,but after the Williamsburg and hazard game I don't know.good luck to all teams and pray no injuries

Wburg-58
Raceland-7
very possible.

From the outside looking in, Raceland does not seem happy reaching the semifinals. I think Raceland will be more businesslike, not so much "starstruck" like last year.
I hope the forecast improved throughout the week as I get there, I am not really fond of the cold. Either way, I plan on being in Ram Stadium rooting for the Rams on Friday night.

64 wants a rating. Okay, here it is:
1). Mayfield
2). Beechwood
3). Williamsburg
4). Race land
That's out of what's left. If Russellville and Frankfort were still alive, they would be right there in the gap between Beechwood and Williamsburg. But who knows this year, heck Graves Co is still alive.

I know hazard missed a pick 6 which I think could of changed the momentum in the game but hazard missed it.. You must contain the QB or he will be gone in a second. You also must tackle and wrap up. Hazard did a poor job at tackling.
After the missed pic6 coach Herron said Jefferson we need A blocked punt Jefferson said OK COACH so that erased any close call pick6. Now at that point the game is history.

Our BS on here means Diddly Squat!!!
The answers lie in the HEARTS of the young men that put it ALL on the LINE next Friday night!!! Win or lose, OUR RAMS have exceeded all expectations.
They believe in themselves and each other. Everyone gets the credit and no one gets the blame.

Williamsburg's defense is obviously tougher than I thought. I think Raceland is a strong candidate to hold their offense at bay, but I'm not sure they'll be able to score enough to win. Williamsburg has more weapons and it'll take Raceland's offense rising to a level they haven't been to yet this year. I do think their defense can hang with them and if their within a touchdown at the sart of the fourth then I think they have a shot. Anything bigger than that and I don't think Raceland's offense can comeback from it. I think Williamsburg wins this one in a close low scoring game that will end up in a final less than two scores. I know you were being smart about asking for a rating but this is my unbiased opinion of the game.

Williamsburg will have a low scoring game about like they had against Hazard.

IMO, the key to this game will be scoring drives and not giving up long quick TDs. That goes for both teams. Raceland has showed their ability to come from behind and not give up when they are down, but we cant let ourselves get into that situation Friday. Idk if we can win in a shoot out with them. This will far and away be our toughest opponent all the way across the bored, especially for our secondary. Williamsburg has been rumored to have one real, be it minute, weakness and that is their secondary. I find it hard to believe with the atheletes they have and the depth they have in their upper classmen skill guys. But, if that is the case, we must remain balanced offensively. If we take care of the ball(which we have done for the most part), if we can sustain long drives(again we have done that all year), if we can remain balanced (something we have truly yet to do) for 4 quarters we will win the game. If we slack off, have dumb penalties, or turnovers, then we will start basketball season on Monday. I know we CAN do it!!! Go Rams!

I am fairly certain that 55 and the rest of the "Flatlanders" are starting to get seriously concerned about this Williamsburg team. That is why they are pulling so hard for whoever is playing them. AND Mayfield acts like their ticket is already punched. Seems to me they better concentrate on themselves more than the Jackets.
I am also fairly certain that although the game is at Raceland, the outcome will be the same as last year. So I am sure the Jacket fans are pulling for Mayfield to win so they can get a shot at shutting them up after listening to them for a whole year.

Im fine with the back and forth on here. Its what makes this site so much fun. The freedom and looseness(if its even a word) is why I favor this site over others. We all have a tendancy, myself included, to get out of hand. I just hope the players dont read too much into all this "has been" (again myself included), which Im sure they dont. I also hope that the players take head of scripture like this, if not from a faith standpoint, then from a humility, one. I havet got to meet or see Wburg in person yet, but I haeheard great things about how their players and coaches carry themselves. I also know that is the way things are instilled at Raceland. I just wanted to mentio this. Not to preach or call anyone out, note I icluded myself. I appreciate everyones interest in this site, especially this thread. Good luck to both squads and I hope and pray who ever comes out of it, is healthy and well enough to bring back some hardware to the East!!

That is why I like you Scotty_Bronson...And that is why I'm not doggin any Raceland fans. I remember the Raceland fans that came to Williamsburg. I posted last year raceland had the best fan support of any team Williamsburg played....But for some of these non believer that post and belittled Williamsburg all year that we played cupcakes.Expects us to remind them that we are still playing...And right now the game between Williamsburg and Raceland is 0-0...64SUR

i give u that much 64. I honestly though Pikeville or Hazard would knock Wburg out. That OBVIOUSLY didnt happen. I never expected that burden to fall on the shoulders of my Rams. Very proud that we have it though. We replaced 5 of our front 7 defensively and 4 of our front 5 on offense. A new qb, 2 new rbs, then had to replace a reciever 4 games into the season. Very proud of what we accomplished. Said it before. Didnt think we would dominate our district. Didnt think we could repeat as district champs...maybe i should just keep on not expected things?lol
