Catron was flying all over the field in his 2nd game back and looked very good.. All in all, they looked good.. Horton dominated all game..

If Belfry is healthy and limit their turnovers.....can't see this one being close.

Belfry rolls.

LC!

Last time Belfry just wore down our line on both sides of the ball. We looked good going into the half but going into the fourth quarter our line was just flat out worn down and had nothing left. I think we might have had a couple of linemen out during that game but I'm not sure about that. Another question has to be is will LC have the three players back next week that got suspended this week? Again LC will need everyone available and will have to bring there A game. Belfry will and should be a big favorite since they have everyone back and playing at home. LC has been wanting this chance since last year lets see if they can stop that big full back and make a game of it. I'll pull for my Dawgs in this one but wish both good luck. Go Dawgs

Belfry will be almost 100% in this game.. Something they were not in the regular season matchup.. Hatfiled was an absolute beast tonight... I think I seen where he had 170 yds on the night against PC.. No offense LC I just don't see you stopping him.. X looked really good, and Catron played very well in his 2nd game back.. Corbett will be back at QB and Taylor will be in the backfield with his speed.. Best of luck to you LC... But I will have to go with BELFRY, 42-15

LC will have to physically match Belfry for 4 quarters which will be the biggest task. If we have all of our players back besides Ratliff who is gone for the season, I think we can hit enough big plays in the passing game to stay in it. It will take tremendous effort but I know we have the players to get it done. If not then I will proudly support the Pirates the rest of the way if we can't get past them this next game. Good luck to both teams but hopefully a little more to my Dawgs.

LC's defense looked good tonight, they will need to keep that momentum and take it to the Cam next week. If they put the same pressure on Belfrys QB like they did in the second half i do believe it will be a lot closer than most think. Going with my Dawgs 28-26

Going with my Dawgs 28-26It's hard to put pressure on a QB that turns and hands it off to Hatfield and he just runs over everybody. Or a pitch to the outside

I just hope that the game is competitive. We kept it close in the 1st game last year also but then in the 2nd game we got our $$$ handed to us!

Who was suspended and why? I noticed that #11 Dalton was not in the Magoffin game. The kid is the best athlete we have and makes our pass game go. With his size and speed he is a big mismatch against most defensive backs in eastern Kentucky who you always need to account for and he brings double coverage and helps the other receivers get open. The kid accounted for most of our offense in the 1st Belfry game and he is also an asset on defense with a lot of speed in the backfield who can pick 6 at any time as well as return a kick to the house. I hope he and the other two get to play next friday.

The pro of this game for me is that the Belfry secondary is finally recovered. Kaleb Edwards and Cameron Catron showed why they were tremendously missed last night. Lawrence will be really surprised by how well our safeties play, in my opinion, and our corners are improved. If our pass coverage is even decent, and Horton plays the way he did last night, Lawrence is in trouble.
BUT, I'm a little worried that Lawrence can get us in this game. They controlled us well for a while, and simply got worn down late. I don't think you can let them hang around Friday night. I think their will needs to be broken early. Last game, we let them get up 14-7 and 7-0 if I'm not mistaken... I would prefer Lawrence playing from 14-0 down. Our kids overlook this team and we will get beat. We aren't playing where we need to be offensively yet, so that'll be a key to watch for me. We are ripe for the picking if we ain't careful.

This game will come down to the LC coaching staff and if they put the right players on the field in the right positions. IMO belfry was lucky to come away with a win in the last game. LC also had injuries last game, the starting left and right off. Tackles were out with injuries. The left tackle is back and doing good and the right tackle that is filling in for Ratliff is getting better every game. LC needs to put their BIGDAWGS (250+lbs) on the D-line for this one, to clog the middle and slow Hatfield down, and to double team or help out on Horton to slow him up. If LC does these 2 things I think everyone is going to be surprised at the final score.

Lol Belfry had injuries too, brother. A lot more than Lawrence... a lot more than most teams actually. No excuses.

If both teams are healthy and able to play, this football game is going to be a slobberknocker!!! As well it should be, too! Two physical teams with all the heart in the world. GOTW if I ever saw one!!
If LC's line hasn't improved their stamina, then I believe it will be a duplicate of the first game. It will be close for 3 quarters, then the Pirates will sail away!!!
Good luck to both teams for an injury free contest. And thanks to both teams for representing your area so very well this year!!!
Belfry 36
LC 28

Belfry has a lot of guys back that didn't see the field much or at all in the first matchup. LC better come fired up and ready to play. The pirates will want to make a statement and they will be as healthy as they were against henry Clay in the first game. I would love to see a close game. Let's hope both bring their "A" game and come ready to play.

Lc will have to play a perfect game and hope they can turn belfry over a few times. Lc can match belfry at the skill postions, but belfry's o line and d lines are to big and to athletic for lc's lines. The coaching staff will have to come up with a game plan to neutralise belfrys d line as much as possible, and that is a lot easier said than done. Hope for a good low scoring game. (Hate that dame train horn). Good luck to both teams. Hey skully03 turn the heat on over there at the cam.
