Cov Cath 19 Johnson Central 7

Lynch47 Wrote:Only people that really thought that going in to the season were the people that wanted to see JC fail. Honestly. When a team loses 8 offensive starters (whole backfield) and plays 6 sophomores and a freshman on defense they should get DRILLED by a Cov Cath. A school with 560+ boys and dresses close to 100 players. This was a rebuilding year.

Oh stop it take the loss like a man JC can't get it done against cov Cath again

So says the biggest crybaby on this board!!!!!

BTW, where were you at after this years annual Belfry butt kicking? I figured you would have deleted half of the posts from JC fans rubbing it in on Belfry. No wait there weren't any JC fans that did anything like that, were there? But that's alright BP, go ahead and prove one more time why you are the most laughed at moderator on BGR.....

I have to be honest because I am honestjchsfan I was at this game and our coaching staff had a off night. The decision to kick the 54 yard field goal was a huge mistake an a bad job by the coaching staff and a failure to protect their team from a costly mistake! Plus; JC has needed to run a fake goal for 2 years now for the purpose of giving the defense something else to prepare for and help slow down the rush! IMO not attempting to kick the 34 yards field goal on 4th an 9 with the score 13 to 7 was also a very odd decision. IMO if you got one of the most talented kickers in the state why let one blocked kick stop you trying again? Coach the game adjust the blocking and kick the FG to make the game 13 to 10! As far as preparation I felt like the JC coaching staff done a great job preparing the defense for the CCH spread attack that hammered JC last season! Good job holding the CCH offense too 2 TDs! I also think the JC coaching staff done a great job rebuilding the team from heavy graduation losses and the loss of Belcher. Going 22-2 and winning 2 district titles is a great job and something to be proud of!

we have always pulled for all the eastern ky teams after the regular season ,and you get on here and make a prick @#$ statement like that . its the few fans like you that hurt the whole thing. good luck to the rest of the pirates do eastern ky proud.

This is one you say kids didn't loss it....the ole ball coach did. Only put up 7pts with belly style offense. JC defense played great
#38
A weak schedule and one dimensional offense won't help you get it done against NKy teams.
#39
Don't hold one Belfry fan against us all, I complimented the Eagles. I was honest in saying I was surprised though.

I wish JC gave me something new to post . . . but, sadly, that hasn't been the case.

I was wanting to see those JC seniors get this win. We had some great times together. Great season and good luck in whatever road you take..

Actually he is a moderator 8966...His style is to delete anything that someone may say critical of Belfry and then come back and say something smart like what he just did to someone that beats Belfry like a drum year in and year out....Even though that team's fan base is always complimentary of their program and wishes it nothing but the best.

Guy is a first class looser.

If for some oddball reason you are correct (that would be a first), then that says a lot about this JC team that's heavily loaded with freshmen and underclassmen that they were able to hold CC to only 2 offensive TDs.

Said the moron who's team was just barely able to survive Magoffin Co...When Lawrence Co. is able to beat a Johnson County team like WR Castle Elementary, then you can come back and crow a little on here.Confusednicker:

BelfryPride you need to change your name to Roberto Duran. "NO MAS"

2013 54-28 pounding of your state championship team

2014 35-0 "NO MAS" Game It would have been difference if we were not hurt.

I can assure you the JC's team on the field last night against CC has 2 critical senior hurt but most of us understand injuries are part of the game. NO EXCUSES

For the rest of the Belfry fans I just want to express my understanding that we all have a fan base nuts. Belfry will always be a great program with pride as long as Coach Philip Haywood is there.

I'm a CovCath follower. Nonetheless, it would be good to see Johnson Central get past the regional semi-final hurdle. With CovCath and FTH leaving the region, next year may see Johnson Central move on. I wish them well.

I would love to see Johnson Central sign two-year contracts to play both Covington Catholic and Highlands beginning next season. If Johnson Central wins a 4A state title next season, there should be no doubt how the three teams stack up head-to-head. With all of the talent that the Golden Eagles have coming back, the games would benefit all three teams and be well worth the travel time to play.

I think it would be great to have those two teams on the schedule every year and it would be good for both teams , us to see more of the spread and for them to see a belly offence that they don't get to play against much. better competition breeds better players and there not much better than those two teams

This is coming from a fan of a Bulldog team with 7 regular season wins:
0-10 East Carter
1-10 Sheldon Clark
2-9 Boyd County
2-8 Rowan County
4-7 Breathitt County
6-6 Pike Central
7-5 Fairview (Class 1A)

Looks like a power schedule to me. Some nice advice would be to grow up OR shut up.

No time for crayons got another game to get ready for, but you wouldn't know anything about that would you? This just goes to show that all of seger's post are pure bs. He knows nothing about sports he is just another jc idiot. Oh by the way great win by the tigers last night that little 1a school has the best sports team johnson county!

That is some big talk by a fan of a team that will be steamrolled in less than a week by a team that Johnson Central crushed a few weeks ago.

If Paintsville>>Johnson Central>>Belfry, then what does that say about the Bulldogs?
#57
Very disappointed with the way this game turned out. Although I am a Belfry fan I always enjoy seeing JC do well. (Unless they're playing us) I feel as if they have the toughest road in 4 a year in and year out. Can't wait to see what they have in store for next year though. So much young talent returning

Actually hoot I think jc is very good team. I like most people in the world just can't stand bob seger he takes a lot of personal shots at the kids from lc and that just doesn't say much for his character as a man. If you will notice I directed my post to him. I wish the best for the eagles they have a great group of kids its just a shame they have seger as a fan.

It makes no sense to belittle a team as part of a personal attack against an individual. I always support eastern Kentucky teams in the playoffs and when they play each other. IMO, this would be a much better website if people would limit their attacks to each other and leave the teenage football players out of their insults.

I will always support Covington Catholic over Highlands because of the many obnoxious Highlands fans that find winning with class such an insurmountable challenge. Both schools have classy, tradition-rich football programs, but the CovCath fans just seem to understand sportsmanship and common courtesy a little better than their Bluebird counterparts.

Although the actions of some past Paintsville players, fans, and coaches reflected poorly on their football program and nearly destroyed a few years ago, Coach Chirico has managed to restore my respect for Tiger football since he took over.

Paintsville has a good program again, but to say that it is the best program in Johnson County is a bit of a stretch. Paintsville's small enrollment has always made it difficult to compete with the larger 1A powers consistently. I would not want to see JC and Paintsville matched up in the Apple Bowl again because it would not benefit either school, outside of the ticket sales.

As long as Matney is coaching at Johnson Central, eastern Kentucky schools with smaller enrollments will find it very hard to beat the Golden Eagles on a regular basis - which is how it should be when large school football teams play small school football teams. That is why I would like to see JC add Covington Catholic and Highlands to their schedule now that they are moving up to 5A.

hahaha....Thanks for making my day dawggie.

My mission is done for the day when I can get under the skin of some of you goofy simpletons. You don't have the first clue of what the difference is in taking shots at kids and aggravating the living daylights out of a stupid fan base. ...You are the exact reason why it is enjoyable....Getcha another drink of that water.....Confusednicker:
