Grats tigers. Goodluck next week

Last year during the regular season Tigers had Panthers beat and Kash Daniel went down
in last couple minutes of that game & Pikeville pulled out a miracle. Was really surprised
of the beat down Tigers suffered this regular season & like many said didn't see a 78 point
turnaround possible but thinking back should have given Tigers a little more of a chance.
Great job by the Tiger players & Coach-C (unbelievable)

Pikeville overlooked Paintsville, simple as that. The coaches knew it would happen and it did. I actually had an assistant contact me about it asking what the scores of the Hazard games were my senior year. 42-6 3 weeks earlier, then a loss to a last second field goal 14-15 in the second round of the playoffs.
It's a lot easier to get kids to go out with a chip on their shoulder than it is to get kids to go out and not overlook a team they thumped earlier in the year. Overconfidence smacked in the mouth turns into fear.

Imagine if you would have stayed with your true friends and played what could have happened . Benefitted it you and the panthers well , made it to 2nd round of playoffs then got bent over just like ur old hawk teammates did.
Can I ask how this bozo made it past a moderator?

I'm not a Pikeville fan. I actually posted several times on wanting to see this game happen because of the improvement Paintsville has made. I still thought Pikeville would win this game, but I thought it'd be much closer than the first game. Everyone was pretty confident that Coach Chirico had made overwhelming improvements, but nobody would have guessed this. It speaks to their mental toughness as well as their willingness and ability to "buy-in" to a system. A 74 point turnaround is something that hasn't been done in KY. I think Coach Chirico solidified himself as a top pick for "Coach of the Year" this season. I think Pikeville has more talent than Paintsville overall, but mentally Paintsville beat them and executed their gameplan to beat them. The post season is a funny ride, and this is a great example of how important it is to plan and play one game at a time. This is a huge win for Paintsville and high school football as well. I'd love to see them continue it, but I love Raceland as well and I'd be happy with either one.You wont be happy for long.

this game made my day. Paintsville stay humble just like joe and I will be watching you in bowling green

This is a bad post season to make predictions for. Matchup wise I thought Pikeville had the best shot of beating everyone in the east. Now I think it's completely up in the air, and I it is much more interesting that way. This definitely helps other teams and Williamsburg is probably feeling great this morning. I have nothing against Williamsburg, I just want their to be a competitive championship game and there are other teams that matchup better with Mayfield that would make it that way. If Beechwood upsets Mayfield then Williamsburg could be competitive but Mayfield would blow them out again. That's the only reason I don't want to see Williamsburg there

Williamsburg was there last year and very likely could be there again this year because they are the best team in the east, and any other team from the east that played mayfield would have been blown out.Mayfield is just that good

Details are still as sketchy as last evenings game but I am hearing reports that Jet pilot did not crash but reportedly diverted his plane to Russia last evening. Turned out to be a bad choice as Putin is a purported Paintsville fan.

I honestly thought this would be a war and could go either way. I watched the first game between these two teams and said it was a game where Pikeville did no wrong and Paintsville did nothing right, it happens. When SV played Paintsville and lost I said Paintsville was/is a scary team. Another poster on here said both SV and Paintsville were bad. Well both are still playing.

Coaches knew their team was going to overlook the Tigers. Don't understand what's confusing about that.

Why do you keep pulling your foot out of your mouth, Williamsburg is bigger, faster, stronger and still playing. If you want competitive you haveto win to make it this year to Bowling Green...this is a special group of kids in Williamsburg they will run when they need too and they will pass when they want too and Williamsburg has the best 1A defense in the east....just keep watching the scores :please:

This is one for the record books and couldn't happened to a more classy, greasy , sneaky , coaching staff . :lame:::lmao::hilarious::ole big coach mac coached em up tonight hah,:. They finally got what they deserves, for all trash talking. Eat your crow panthers you've earned it .Maybe if they've still had same d coordinator they beat paintsville with past few years they wouldn't have given up 30 points to the tigers, instead of thinking you'd won state when u beat belfry. Let's here those excuses begin. Better team won ,simple came to play ,more beef in the backfield.( to bad pikeville couldn't get dainiels eligible when they recruited him, would've helped tonigh . That says it all . Hahaha haha. Get that basketball out boys your big 11â0 season don't mean squat when u lose in 2 nod round of the playoffs. I guess Drinking all that juice equals out when the other teams are drinking same juice or maybe some a bit stronger who knows ???Have fun talking trash during round ball season hail pikeville, you boys got a chance for a state title there if u can get out of the district . Maybe paintsville got on pikeville YMCA supplement program.????::hilarious:
I am an Elkhorn City Alumni and there is nothing I like better than seeing Pikeville get beat even if it is at marbles. But man this is a little harsh. I agree that some of the things that have gone on at Pikeville, mainly with the football program, over the years are shady at best. Just sit back and enjoy this. Pikeville is always gonna be what they are, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!!

Pikeville is always gonna be what they are, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!!What gets me is that a school that has been CAUGHT cheating and punished for it very recently, actually has fans stupid enough to get on here and flap their gums about recruiting or juicing up. Pike Central, when they had that other coach, might as well have had Sandy Valley Transportation running their bus routes. Would have saved a boatload of wear and tear on their coaches cars.
The Daniels boy tried to transfer to Pikeville on his own. When you win, you attract players (like Belfry). KHSAA denied it, so he went back. If anything, I respect him a little more now for having gone back and apparently fitting right back in with his teammates, as they seem to have a good rapport on the field. So kudos to the young man for that, and their coaches as well.
As for the Pike Central fan? Well, it is funny how a school that's never won anything tries to flap their gums. Jealousy is an ugly color, but I guess it is prettier than that ugly old burnt orange and blue up on the hill. Lol

Coach Mac is a class act on and off the field. I have known him for many years and I respect him and as a coach and even more as a person.

The players who didn't play in the first game against Pikeville were Lemaster (O line), Howard (center) and Hendricks in the backfield. Belcher wasn't 100% either.
