The Lakers(1-9) travel to Danville to take on the Rebels(9-1).
Russell County has struggled to get anything going this year and I'm afraid it doesn't get any easier when they play Boyle County this Friday. Good luck to both teams and pray for an injury free game!

Boyle by as much as they want. Russell has some pieces, though. Shut down their QB and don't let 55 get his paws on the rebels and you'll be okay.

Boyle shouldn't have much trouble in this game. Russell is really down this year.

Who will the winner face?

The winner of this game will face the winner of Knox Central/Taylor County.

Very well could be. I hope Boyle County keeps their momentum. They have been on a roll the last few weeks.

Boyle has a decent shot at making a deep play off run. They have righted the ship and their offense is now producing. They could win a state championship. I think they are now 2-3 touchdowns better then lex cath and these kids have bought in. It's not easy from going from one extreme in French to another one in Smith who demands perfection.

I hope you're right cctiger. The team is definitely heading in the right direction after the much needed loss against Lexington Catholic. Much needed only because it opened their eyes.

Hmmm, Interesting analogy. Just wondering if they are 2-3 TD better, is that mean they made up the 9 pts lost earlier in the season and plus 2-3 TD better? So it should be at least a 3-4 TD better after they make up the 9 points deficit right? If I'm getting what your saying.

Anyway, Boyle Co will be a big winner cause their program is top notch, consistent winners year in year out. They just know how to produce wins.

Yeah boyle beats catholic by 2 scores. Chuck smith got his point across when he made them stand out in the rain for 15 minutes making them watch catholic celebrate. They seem to have now bought in to the Chuck smith way of doing things and beat them by two scores.

I sure hope you're right cctiger! I do believe Boyle County and Lexington Catholic will meet up in the 3rd round and I do believe it will be a great game, as always. Lexington Catholic is on a roll right now and they are well aware that Boyle County was watching them celebrate. It's safe to say that the playoffs are going to be interesting.

Just for the record Lexington Catholic was not celebrating beating Boyle County. The student body was on the field because Catholic lost a counselor 2 days before and the players put her daughter who is a current student on their shoulders. That had nothing to do with the game. That's why each player carried down flowers to the endzone and prayed for that faculty member and her family.

That is correct. She was the only one that was carried by the team. Her mom, who was a counselor who passed 2 days prior and was celebrating her life and those yellow flowers was to honor her ( favorite color )... but if that's what Smith told his players that LC was rubbing it on their faces, well so be it. LC has done it 2 out of 3 years and have never heard coach French use that as a motivation ( student body charging that field ).

In the words of Jack Lambert... A " running clock ". LOL! He seems to be fascinated with a running clock prediction on almost, maybe all his prediction.

You may want to look up rules of Kentucky football because two touchdowns is far from a running clock. Next off every time I have said it the results end up as a running clock. I'm not even a Boyle County supporter. But what I say is true. Some people don't like it but oh well. What I said about Boyle in the beginning of the year was true they weren't very good and they don't hsve the athletes they once had. How ever Boyle county plays on a weak side of the bracket and the only team who will stop them is Highlands. I'm sorry to hear about the counselor dyinh buy chivk smith did his job and sold his players that they were celebrating. Boyle still wins by two touchdowns and yet again the city of Lexington will be left wondering how come our schools can't compete like the schools from Louisville.

First of all, are you Jack Lambert? Cause there is a big Boyle Co follower on these thread name Jack Lambert. Second, thank you for pointing that out. I do read and know the running clock rule at 36 pts. Third, what and who is the school are you talking about that can't compete with Louisville school?

Maybe I should have picked Russell instead of Boyle.
11-06-2014, 04:45 AM
Wait maybe I will pick Russell since I have'nt made a prediction in this thread, let alone said anything about a running clock.

Boyle has had 3 straight games of a running clock and stands a very good chance to make it 4 in a row. Just saying......

Take them one at a time, don't look past nobody this time of year. As for making a prediction, the Rebels should roll.

Take lexingtons top 6 schools and Louisville's and lexington would be 0-6. Boyle county alone has won more state championships in 20 years then all of lexington combined.

Go Rebels!

Wait! What? Again what does this statement has to do with Boyle Co beating Russell Co? Did I did say Lexington schools has more banner than Boyle Co? NO! And for your information, just in case you don't get to travel much or read the news, Lex Catholic went to Louisville Male 2 season ago and whipped them at their own field. They Played and beat Louisville Ballard ( scrimmage ) and if it was a real game, it would have been a running clock. Again I don't get what your point on this statement. BTW Ballard is one of the team favorite to play for the 6A championship.

And as far as you Jack, you know I'm just cracking on you. You know darn well I have much respect for your program. I have said it in the past and I will continue to say it. I just don't get what or where cctiger saying. And for your information, I would love for either Boyle Co or Lex Catholic to get past FT Highlands, especially with them leaving for next alignment to 5A.
