I know very little about this school, but happened to be reading about them and saw their schedule. Given that they have come so close to beating Danville, LCA, and Middlesboro, I don't think it would be out of the question that they could win the title if a few things went their way.

Highly doubt it. From what I've heard from everyone that's watched them play they are very soft. Shelby Valley has the 2nd best defense in 2A by stats and pride theirselves on physicality. Middlesboro ran the wing T and put 52 points on them. Shelby valley runs the wing T and has better stats on the rush game than Middlesboro by a long shot. Not a very good combination for somerset to have to deal with. #2 line backer in all classes in tackles. #1 corner in all classes in interceptions and #1 pass defense in 2A. Somerset will have to play their best game and valley will have to play bad for somerset to beat them.

Don't think they will make it past Valley . Valley is just to physical and tough on the defensive side of the ball . Somerset is definitely a worthy apponent for Valley . And Valley will have to play there best game to win . That means hanging on to the ball . They've had a big problem with fumbling the football in big games and in big situations so If valley hangs on to the football and plays the way they've played in the last month valley wins this game by a couple touchdowns .

Somerset could get through the East if things go their way, but they don't have a great shot at beating anyone from the West. Shelby Valley is giving up close to 15 points a game and scoring around 30 points a game. Their schedule is much weaker than Somersets, but Somerset has given up a lot of points this year to those better teams. So on paper Shelby Valley should be the overwhelming favorite. However, if Somerset can play perfect and get a few breaks then they could win this game and even the next game as well. Playoffs are a different animal and I don't know Somerset's psychy at this point in the year. If they come in defeated then it'll be a running clock but if they come in to it hungry for a win then it'll be a great game.

Again, for the second time. Where are you getting these stats from? I've corrected you before. Shelby Valley does not have the second best defense in 2A. Currently you are 4th. CAL is #1, DeSales #2 both by quite large margins.
