That reference to God looks singular to me. It's laughable to argue more than one god established the Laws of Nature and each man's individual inalienable rights.

God referenced in the singular sense as being the Creator of all men.


3rd mention of God

By this document we see that God is the God of Nature, the Creator of all men and the Supreme Judge. So, if it's all the same to you I am very content to wallow in my ignorance of the universe as it applies to the Creator and Judge of men. LOL, I suppose smart is a matter of perspective.
You do realize where the term "natures god" came from, right? It's a Deist's terminology. Show us where the Christians god is referred to. I'm just seeing what you are wanting it to say, not what it actually says.

I really don't think any of the founders considered the AFL-CIO or its vacuum-headed Rich Trumka to be their "god". But, then, you did take a history course in the eighth grade in a government school so you must be the expert on these matters.

I must point out that none of the founders worshiped at the boot of "organized labor" but I will thank you for the compliment. I don't intend to come across as arrogant. I am well aware that I have no true knowledge of your area of employment expertise. Thus, I know to keep my mouth shut in those areas. And, I do know that you have absolutely no knowledge about the law in general and constitutional law in particular which happen to be my areas of expertise.

I don't know why you keep bringing up labor, we are talking about god in the constitution. As I've named, not all fathers were Christians, some were Deists. That's two completely different gods. God in the constitution is a general term referring to each's god. Some fathers were even athiests. If your area of expertise is constitutional law, you surely missed a few classes. If you're a lawyer in KY, there's a better chance that you are an ambulance chaser before a constitutional lawyer.

Not true. The god of the deist supposedly created the universe then removed himself to allow man to do as he pleased with no apparent end.

The God the founders were familiar with, inserted Himself time and again throughout the course of history with His chosen people, the Jew. Christ then came to earth, performed enough miracles so as to defy man's ability to record and in the most documented event in history, rose from the dead after His crucifixion. The founding fathers recognized Him as Creator and Judge of all according to the Declaration of Independence. Your argument cannot be substantiated in light of the text of the Declaration.

Romans 14:10-11 (KJV)
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

That includes the deist.

BTW, that represents all 50 states by my reckoning. I'm going out on a limb here and saying that God knows the preambles and constitutions of the states verbatim. I'm also going to venture than of those who have passed laws legalizing things like homosexual depravity and abortion on demand have likewise not escaped His notice. I really do not see how we could expect Him to forego judgment when He "spared not His own."

What would liberals reasons be for voting dem then?

Theres absolutely no scenario when I have ever looked at this administration and thought damn, they know how to manage a country, fiscally or foreign policy wise.

Wow! Finally somebody who gets it. You have concisely framed what I have in the past, called a nuclear food fight in the Congress. If one as you suggest, were to take the social rebellion/reform out of the equation what good are the Dems? Miserable failures at US foreign policy, the Middle East is a boiling caldron in which we have seen the birth of the Caliphate. Russia's Putin is marching his armies across the continent in what he calls peaceful expansion. China has become the bad boy of the South China Sea region, pushing Japan and Viet Nam around.

Their ridiculous economic policies, the basis of which is an unreasonable 'faith' in Keynesian Economics, (an economic philosophy whose viability history has already disproven) have pushed America to the brink of financial collapse. By the time Obama gets through with his "fundamental transformation" economists say we could be looking at a national debt of somewhere around 22 Trillion. My fear, all the quantitative easing we can muster will fall woefully short of our rescue as 401K's and pensions will at some point go up in smoke, turning millions of seniors who have worked and saved all their lives for retirement, into wards of a state that can no longer afford to take care of them.

Obviously, I can't separate lack of religion from the mess at hand but, staying within your guidelines one can still build a compelling case.

All one has to look at are the numbers from this administration, and you could see that he has done a helluva job saving us from depression. I've posted the numbers more than once, but it's the same everytime, you guys ignore those. Plus, it's hard to get global respect when we have a country divided. Your guys signed a pact at soon as Obama took office, to block him at every move. You have a bunch of traitors in your party. They root for, and try to make the country fail, just to dicredit a President they hate.

Debt from 2 wars on a credit card. That's the number you like to post, and it mostly came from your guy's wars. Try the deficit, house prices, unemployment, jobs, numbers. He has saved us from an inevitable depression, even with no help from your side. Just think what the US could be right now if the traitors hadn't signed that pact to try to block and destroy this President. They have to rig the districts, spend huge amounts of money, and run attack ads on a 24 hour loop, with no qualms about running lying attack ads. Mitch is a classic case. He owes his soul to the Koch brothers, and others like them. Big money, buying elections is the main way they win. I wouldn't bring up uninformed, this site is full of uninformed republican voting people. They vote based on lies from big money, and overlook the real numbers. Or, merely vote the way they were brought up in this red state.

This rates as one of the silliest posts to ever come from TheRealVille. His boys/girls/mixtures cannot win an election without the overwhelming vote of those who contribute nothing to society. His wins come because his party continues to use the wealth of the actual taxpayers to buy the votes of the underclass.

As I have posted repeatedly, only give the vote to those who actually have "skin" in the game- the actual taxpayers. Why should the freeloaders and related parasites have a vote? Obviously, they only vote for those who offer them handouts and that, of course, is TheRealVille's people and that is detrimental to the progress of the country.

I honestly believe, those who take the time to read the writings of the figures of the American Revolution can readily feel their pain. That precious gift for which they paid so dear a price (liberty for all) may well have already fallen into the hands of those who do not understand what freedom really means. There are 'payments' that have to be made. Installments of sacrifice by those on whom the gift has been bestowed in order to ensure it's continued perseverance.

Instead we see the incessant looting of Uncle Sam's treasury to, as you so rightly call out, buy the votes of those who care about nothing but living for today. I doubt it is even conceivable that Democrats are not aware of the black cloud hanging over this nation's future. Either way, they are the advocates of the listless. The financers of sluggards at the expense of those who have worked to provide this nation's wealth.

However, regardless of what your boys, Obama and Holder, say, they aren't entitled to special rights and special treatment merely because they are "blacky, women, or gays (fairies)". They should earn respect just like all those nasty people you don't like who pay the bills.

The framers intened a citizenship that are treated equal, with equal rights. They didn't intend for you to make decisions about others bedroom life, or body decisions. It's not my problem if you choose to try to twist what they put on paper, to say something else. If the framers intended to exclude people, they would have written it. FTR, if you think I give a rats ass what you think of me, you obviously haven't been on this board long enough to learn. If you had your way we would go back to slavery, and only white men voting. You are, of course, ignorantly wrong in regard to the intentions of the framers. Voting, in the early half of our country's history was strictly a Tenth Amendment issue. That meant that each state adopted its own laws for voting. Undoubtedly, that was the original intent of the framers. No one can honestly question that.

However, after the Civil War the country adopted what are known as the "Civil War Amendments". One such amendment, the Fifteenth Amendment ratified on February 03, 1871, provided for the vote of blacks. However, the requirements for them to vote were still under the jurisdiction of each state (Tenth Amendment).

Women were not guaranteed the right to vote until the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment on August 18, 1921. Now, that doesn't mean that no women voted prior to that. It means that, up to that time, each state set its own laws (Tenth Amendment).

The bottom line is that the framers intended for each state to make its own laws as to who voted and how they qualified.

That, of course, changed drastically with the passage of liberal voting rights acts in the 1960s.

Now, unfortunately in my mind, voting has become a federal right gleaned from the minds of liberal judges and politicians. But, that was never the intent of Washington, Franklin, Jefferson, etc.

We even let eighteen years olds vote with the Twenty-Sixth Amendment in 1965, which, in my mind is unwise. Even then it should be noted that a number of states, including Kentucky, allowed eighteen year olds to vote prior to 1965. This is another illustration of the precedent for states deciding voting rights under the Tenth Amendment.

So, as I said earlier, original intent was not at all what you posted. As usual you were way out in left field with Obama, Holder, and Al Sharpton.

Your most recent history lesson is over and there is no charge since I always do a material amount of pro bono work. But, I still want to know if you union boys give a vote to those who don't pay union dues. I am afraid that that question will receive the same attention as the question about Clueless Barbie's lack of qualifications and the whereabouts of Andy. I conclude you have no answer.

^ Since I'm on an iphone, let's just address the "10th amendment, states rights " you name, since you want to lean toward it. What privilege did said states lose, if they restricted voting right of citizens? I'll tell the answer, they lost congressional representation. If it went the way you want, KY wouldn't have any representation in Washington.
