You realize with the exception of Sheldon Clark those same teams are on JC's schedule. Overall this season Ashland's strength of schedule, to this point, is better than JC's by far.

Little info for everyone. Before lthe start of last weeks games, Ashland was leading the state of Kentucky in Rush Yards at a little less then 400 per game.

This may shell-shock some readers out there who aren't Highlands fans, but not every team in 4A expects to win 4A every year. And not every season that doesn't end in a 4A championship is worthless. To state thusly demeans the work and effort of every player who isn't wearing a Highlands (or occasionally Collins) jersey. Some of us accept our limitations. We know that the sons of ex-NFL players won't be starting for us for every year and that ex-NFL QBs won't be coaching our QBs. Guess what? We're still going to come in and give our best effort. Just as in life, some are born with everything, and some have to work for what we get. When you have to work for what you get, it's far, far sweeter in the end. Your snark is cliched at this point here. All those who argue strength of schedule, how has playing strong schedules worked out for Boyle County and Lexington Catholic and every other team in 4A the last umpteen years? Sisyphus rolls the rock up the hill knowing it will roll right back down on him, but yet, he tries, and his ultimate victory is in the refusal to stop fighting even though he knows the fight can never be won. We will keep working toward the dream, despite the admonition from everyone else that we might as well not try. The attention we get from up north tells me everything I need to know about who you guys are worried about.

In addition, Jim is building up these watered down Canadian and / or Private schools from Philadelphia, Mississippi or Ohio and then claims that he "can't get anybody to play us!" Hey Jim, Male, Trinity, Scott Co., St. X, Conner, Cooper, Bryan Station, Pulaski Co., Bowling Green, Warren Central, Highlands, Cov. I love the radio spot on WSIP that Coach Matney did for this game..... I know when some of my elder neighbors are talking about the game, the commercial did its job.

LC is getting better that is for sure and heading in the right direction. But just in case you haven't figured out I am realistic in that JC would beat us. I think it wouldn't be by as much as some would think though. I got a message asking me what I have against JC? I will say it again I don't have anything against JC they are a great team and program. This is a great classic, in fact I think it is better than the old Paintsville,-JC games.

Ashland has several talented skill players and if JC does not show up Ashland could win. I think JC shows up, controls the ball and clock, has long scoring drives and keeps Ashland from hitting any home runs with Baker. If Ashland does not show up, it will get ugly quick. JC has Pack in case of a tight game and the goal post at JC do not move.

Matney has owned this series and I forgot that the JC fans are still mad at the moving fence this summer in softball so this series will be spirited.

I go with Matney, home field advantage and JC controlling the line of scrimmage. JC by three tds.

Number one, I talked to some great LC fans this week and they tell me you not part of the LC Group in any form or fashion so do not act like you are part of anything LC.
