Class A Final 4
topnotch Wrote:Baseballs and Jetpiolette maybe you guys can help us. Our situation is so bad What would you change or do./?

I never said it was bad? I simply pointed out some things that weren't what you said they were?
baseball1974 Wrote:I was actually at all of the games last year. Not sure what you're talking about?

You might have been there but the only 1A team from the east that was there was Williamsburg.
pjdoug Wrote:You might have been there but the only 1A team from the east that was there was Williamsburg.

Okay? Still don't know what that has to do with me? None of them are "my team?"
baseball1974 Wrote:You're finally starting to back track into reality? That's good. You did say basically because these players played in a middle school state title they would be more prepared than others because "they've been there before." And the second thing speaks a lot to what I've been trying to say regarding the complaints over Mayfield having more kids in their school. The same reasons you listed is exactly why an Allen Central for example isn't cleaning house in 1A. They don't have the program and coaches others do, nor do they have the community or administration support. As far as Sheldon Clark goes, the reason they won in middle school and aren't winning now is simple, its a completely different situation. And that is why Williamsburg could win that tournament every year and it won't do anything for them when they get up to their junior or senior years. So many variables are involved and its no way fair to say to a group of kids that they should win because they won when they were in middle school. Just look at Middlesboro? They put winning a state title on that group a long time ago based off similar reasons and it was not reality at all.

You keep saying over and over and over, "We are the same team as last year." That is simply not true. The player that was responsible for 95% of the touchdowns Williamsburg scored last season is no longer there. I know everyone keeps saying the qb now is much better and so on, but what data are you basing that on? He has proven himself against great defenses all year? Nobody has seen how he is going to react in a state championship type atmosphere, and nobody knows what he will do in close games when the game is in his hands? Because of that you can not say with any credibility that the team is the same, because the team that went to the state championship game last year no longer has their offense?

go watch the first quarter of their game fridayConfusednicker:

I don't get it? What will I see that will be so impressive against a 2-6 team that has a season high points scored of 28 against a pretty terrible Clinton county team? I'd rather watch practice, or just wait until someone in the playoffs puts up a running clock against them because they all just give up once they realize all the players on the other team know how to tie their shoes?

Shouldn't be long now? Make sure you charge up the video camera? It may even be first round or possibly second?

possibly but doubtful.I'm not a Williamsburg fan so I have no use for video.

You are just rambling why don't you get on another thread.

I would definitely try and change the subject too if I were you?
He is so old he can't remember what the subject was.
I just want to say to BGR fan..If anybody in 1A in the east can beat Williamsburg your team will be playing for a State Championship......I just cant see anybody beating them in the east....Pieville maybe the only team that has a chance and that a 25% chance. Only because they beat Belfry. :welcome:

Well, yeah. Duh. You only get to the semis by going through your two toughest possible opponents (before Bowling Green). So yeah, whoever beats Williamsburg is likely to go to Bowling Green. Problem for you guys is that it will likely be Pikeville. And it's more than a 25% chance, 64Sur. Much more. Why don't you guys focus on trying to get past Hazard before worrying about Bowling Green? Lol.
Going in to Daniel field, the burg will be lucky to get past the Dawgs. Williamsburg really don't know what playing a good team is like this season. And I would give the Dawgs a better than 60% chance of beating the orange jackets.

I don't understand none of you guys from pikeville, you think because pikeville beat hazard. Hazard deserves another shot :please: don't get hazard fever. :phone::phone::phone:

That could be true too? I have to program directions in my phone so I can find my way home everyday

Hazard gets a shot at YOU all first. Just happen to think they will win. Because unlike you all, we know they've played a hard schedule.
I don't think any of you know the percentages on any games. I do think the burg is a little full of themselves about their chances. I think the sub 400 schedule is going to hurt them. It will hurt them endurance wise. It will hurt them also mentally. It will also cause too much confidence.

It ok to think an want hazard. Mysonis55 has been waiting 3 years. Confusednicker:

I think it could be an advantage .they stay well rested while not showing their hand as the clock keeps running all the way to Bowling Green :biglmao:

That also means they go into the playoffs without any experience of running their varsity offense and defense against good competition or in a close game situation? Which means they have no idea if their players will succeed at doing that or if anything their doing offensively or defensively will be successful against a good team.

Let's call it a draw, poker face. It also means the Burg has no idea what they can do, except put running clocks on cupcakes, marshmallows, and cream puffs.

Wait, did I forget the twinkies?
